Another handy tip for Guardian: It also clears landmines and will disable Phase Cloak. This is a silver bullet vs Eclipse mechs. However, avoid crashing Revoker users since Revoker is bugged and, when crashed, it ends up getting two darts which effectively doubles its attack rate. It's also fairly useless against very low-reload weapons like Ember since that's all Crash does; force weapons and abilities into CD. For weapons and abilities with long CDs, it's a killer. But against those with short CD, spammable weapons or abilities, you're toast.

And a general tip; think about what weapons you have (or will have) available. If you're early on and don't have weapons over 6 or 8 energy, you don't need to max out mechs to 24 or 36 energy capacity; that's a waste if you don't have the gear to equip on them. In that light, a "light" mech like Lancer which needs full upgrades to get decent energy can be a great boon early on. It can have even more HP than lower-ranked but higher-tier Mechs. 12 Energy on Lancer lets you equip a pair of Storm Rack 6 or Revoker 6. And 16 Energy will allow you to use a 10 + 6 combo for either of those weapons, or a pair of good 8 energy weapons like Pod Gun or Helix.

So try to remember to stop upgrading once they have enough energy to equip a set of good weapons (or a single very good weapon).

Also, having one or two minimally upgraded Mechs as "rank dumps" can help you in the new 2v2 mode. Put one or two very low-rank Mechs and that frees up stars so you can get exactly 23 stars in your hanger. That's as strong as you can make it without going into League 1. Without good Mods on your Mechs (which you shouldn't waste on low-tier Mechs), League 1 is very tough. Better to hang back in League 2 where you can use Pilots but not Mods. You may still run up against League 1 due to matchmaking, but at the same time you may run up against League 3 which doesn't even have Pilots.

Lancer do not upgrade it until u pod gun8 or storm racks , paragon do not upgrade it at all,do not get the juggernaut mech at all,get puma to increase tier....shadow also skip it until u have storm racks or pod guns, first get guardian...for ares go with cryo launcher 6 or storm racks 6 they r best
Stalker is awesome with some guided weapons missile weapons and pod guns,tengu is for free and do not upgrade it but if u want it upgrade it only after tier 6 with revoker 6,arachnos is a piece of shit do not upgrade it...use it as guided weapons,get Aegis this mech is the best getting it as a beginner"Aegis",killshot is free with some derby event redeemer-u can skip it,zephyr get it at all cost and install either revokers or storm racks or missle racks,do not ever get a cheetah ever,it's amazing but not worth it 🎉

2 years back then things were simple, we had brick,onyx,gate C as legendries that wearn't broken ,just meta.and i remember arc torrent ares,missile rack guardian winning tournaments, no cheat codes with 3 mechs in one,they added weapons that are one shotting everything to make the game "balanced". players leaving and mostly fighting with bots. this game is a total joke

buy juggernaut.There is a task that will give you more acoins than the mech itself for getting it.

Lancer is actually us full to rank up to 12 energy once you get storm 6 because it can act as a early game storm lacewing then get it to maxed as is can then get mods for cheep then you can get storm 10 and have a pretty good mech and weapon combo till around 5K SP it is worth the acoin investment.

My tip for the zyphyr is to stay unseen. Be patient and sneaky. Whenever I see a p2w player, I always break out my zyphyr and hide in a corner while watch the target. Choose the right moment to third party your enemy when they are being cocky and careless.

8:39 You may choose to buy Tengu and use it without waiting for a month, because you will be able to get your acoins back on the day you are supposed to get Tengu. Of course upgrading it is not really recommended

5:17 I agree that Shadow is not a recommendable mech, but if you are planning to accomplish the tier 3 gear hub mission(which gives you epic mech ability cooldown implant), it might be okey to get one, of course upgrading it is not really recommended

Lancer is acctualy a good option for progression! Paired with missile rack 6 its a beast even up to 5/7 k sp ( the number below your prifile pic ). Very acssible and cheap. Godd for some time
