2:29 linear wipe doesn't work for me because it's a 3D layer. How did it work for you then I don't understand? I tried simple 3D and advanced 3D, it didn't work for me, AE limits the effects on the 3D layer.

Is 2026 a good time to learn After Effects?

Was expecting something about latest techniques - nothing about that. Everything was creatively OK until circular images - use expressions for that to have dynamic control over the matter. And the second to last blew my mind! It's the worst possible way to make that animation happen by manually creating all the text layers and the fills - single layer + text animation on Y position and fill with some wiggling around = no mess.

Can add one quick tip to skill 9 with carousel of words
You can make the word in row colored by using adjustment layer with fill effect and mask it inside the rulers. So if u will need to change the "jump" duration u will do it only on the null obj (:
