This was really useful and provided a great starting point to see how shortcuts work and now I’m excited for “GUI scripting”😂 Also just a suggestion but, it’s really hard to see with the phone screen taking up a small portion of the whole screen. I know in Xcode you can play around with a virtual and record the screen on your computer, but I’m sure there might be a better trick than that which I can’t think of.

So many things can be done by yourself if you're not a retard.. but where's the shortcut for icloud sync to make a backup copy? Didn't find it yet. All I want is just adding a button in quick settings and I can't do it easily. WTF.? Isn't it a useful shortcut? All in all it's a sassy thing to allow the phone algorithms to take control over your life, especially when smth doesn't go as scheduled.

Is there a way to not list off certain events on the Upcoming Day Summary? I tried adding a variable to list the calendars I want it to pull from (example, I don't want holiday's or my work calendar to be selected by using the 'Calendar' 'is not' "work" "holidays" etc.

Also just my opinion, The chat gpt ones aren’t really necessary.

Pressing and holding most app icons allow for a set of “quick actions” if the developer has accounted for it.

For ChatGPT specifically they already have each of these actions

My sweet friend, I need you help! I get so many spam texts everyday I’m DYING. My phone has two numbers and I’m constantly missing important notifications. Is there anyway to create an automation to automatically forward texts to a number (spam/7726 )and then when that number(it’s the Verizon spam account) texts back send the phone number (from the original spam sender) 😅

Great video. Regarding the last action button shortcut tip there is easier and dynamic method - make folder in shortcuts, then in action button configuration select shortcuts and choose “show folder” (not “open folder” as that will open shortcuts app when you press the action button). Now when you press action button you will get a visual pop-up containing all automations in the folder.
