Miami has gotten bad lately, but at least it's not the other most famous warm spot to live , their snooty cousins in the west. L.A makes Miami feel like Miami is dream to live in. I have lived in both, and seen how both act, and L.A is just plain scary.
Also saying Little Havana, is crime infested is wrong, yes.they do police their own, that is why. Just like in Little Italy in NY (Italians watch over their neighborhood), and Ironbound section of Newark NJ (Portuguese watch over their section), the Cubans make sure nobody gets out of hand, or real Crime comes to their neighborhood. The is fighting, drunkness, and loudness, but never much real crime like Little Haiti.

@jessmjfan989Wynnwood has gotten a lot better, it's extremely gentrified, there are some amazing new developments. I live in Edgewater, have walked to Wynnwood, no problems.

@willmathieu3663I was born and raised in Model city for 15 years and left in 2007 and everything that you've just said Briggs was spot on. Back then it was known as Liberty City don't know why they've changed the name but like Overtown it too is out of control with violent crime rate, terrible schools, and lack of well paying jobs. Glad I left.

@rosialonHave you actually been to Miami? You left out Miami Gardens(The murder capitol of the the state) & Opa Locka. You also omitted North Miami, which has some horrible neighborhoods but also has Sans Souci & Keystone Point, both with mostly million dollar plus homes. The park you showed is Morningside park, which is in Morningside and just north of Bay Point. Lots of expensive homes in both places.

@nameredacted6926I had a huge feeling Wynwood would make it to the top of the list. It is the saddest place in all of Miami. As he said wynwood is the worst neighborhood in all of Miami. It is the unluckiest of the bunch. One known fact about wynwood at one time the neighborhood had a predominant population from Puerto Rico, so much so it was nicknamed Little San Juan, but today the population of Puerto Ricans in wynwood has dramatically declined as many of them have moved into central Florida i e Orlando and Kissimmee. The neighborhood was completely dedicated to Puerto Ricans throughout the latter half of the 20th century up until when they started moving inland and there was more immigrants from central and South America coming into the hood. After doing some research on the area if anyone ever remembers this, wynwood experienced a riot in 1990 due to from what the newspaper in the archives (Miami Herald I believe it was) said was “poor race relations”.
The incident remains one of the most forgotten urban riots of the late 20th century. So it’s no wonder why wynwood made it to the top list and I had a high feeling it would.
On a brighter note Ron Desantis is an excellent governor and is making Florida a freer state and retirement home for Americans. He also spoke about the nationwide riots in Cuba with their people overthrowing the oppressive government there. He is excellent on fiscal policies. Needless to say, he’s a better governor than any other in America. I give him an A+
