i detox my body with good results. For a month I only eat vegetables, fruit and high-quality chicken, beef and an animal. I only use olive oil, avocado oil and coconut oil and then any spices you just gotta watch the ingredients to make sure there’s no acid preservatives anything we want whole ingredients.. the first week I was sick and so tired and over the three weeks of 21 days I lost about 8 pounds of inflammation and I feel amazing

In this video, I’m sharing hard truths about losing weight—even if:

Realizing this now makes me a little sad—losing weight didn’t have to be so complicated. I’ve been anxious about my body since 15,trying everything from long workouts to strict diets that backfired. Now at 33,I’ve gone from 75 to 66 kg in 3 months with minimal effort. After years of mistakes, I finally see it:some people simply know how to let appetite settle on its own. Let me share the “secret trick “they’ve been using all along.

I wasn't expecting to get anything useful from this video, especially that I have already eaten too much today and my mood has been only deteriorating because of my messed up hormones. But actually you inspired me to learn from it, instead of eating something sweet to cheer myself up - I can take tryptophan, which always makes me feel significantly better. In case someone was reading it, who also struggles with eating too much, because their bad mood is too much - try tryptophan. I used to take antidepressants and tryptophan is just better for me (no, you can't mix these two).
Also I'd add that sometimes is really not your fault that you put on weight. In my case it was too much stress, overly activated mastocytes and glucose swings that put me on the heavy side, but apparently I also need to supplement iodine to not be fat. Our bodies are not the same, so perhaps you should start a journal and analyse your symptoms, do the blood tests, experiment a bit and the final solution doesn't have to be starve yourself.

1:50 It's so important that you say this. I gained 8kg since 2022, most of it(5kg) between age 29-30 even though I also started to work out. Something changed with my body before I turned 30 because I used to be able to easily lose weight by cutting down on snacking but I haven't been able to lose any of that extra weight in 2025. I know I'm not overweight but I don't like that my pants and other clothes sit tight around my belly now (I have IBS and celiac) and I liked the way I looked before. When I mentioned this to a friend, she immediately started to get annoyed. She told me I look healthy and that it's okay to have some sweets and basically discouraged me from my goals, even though I told her that I had 2 cavities last year that came from eating a small sweet treat every day at my office. Then she went on a rant about women who want to lose weight etc. And while I agreed with her on some points, it still made me sad that she was so judgmental. I don't want to become a size 0, I just want to lose the weight I gained (because I eat something sweet every day which is not healthy) and eat healthier. I constantly have sugar lows that affect my mood and my ability to focus on tasks in the afternoon. This is not healthy so it should be socially acceptable to not eat sugar without getting "shamed"

For me, my greatest weight was family.
My own weight was going well as is (8 kilos loss, 2,5 months), but family just went with "you're good as is" even though I was overweight on BMI.

God, quitting alcohol first was like the fucking worst. Everyone asking if their is something wrong with you or are you sick. Like no dude, i just want to stop drinking...its not healthy. Now, its normal and they don't care. But the next step on being healthy is trying to get them to accept me sometimes "eating like a rabbit" as they call it. I swear, when you start becoming healthy everyone else has to move into the defensive guilt tripping because they don't want to be responsible about their own health. Sorry, I'm not stopping....and when I'm healthy and happy....you going to want to join me. Which is fine, I'll happily be the support for when they want to change.

Intermittent fasting and low carb are rooted in science. I dropped 16kg in 8 months doing that! Apart from the first 3 weeks of adjustment to burning body fat, which were tough, once in the fat burning zone, I didn’t feel hungry (apart from passing hunger pangs which were easy to ignore), had great energy, was sleeping well.

I did the 80 / 20 rule, just ate whatever for two or three meals a week.

I got a meal planning app, set it to low carb. Could just pick and choose meals from pictures, it would pull together a shopping list for the recipes. It made that side brainless as well. I didn’t restrict this food during my eating window. Just ate until I was comfortable, but not full. Some days I ate 3 times in that eating window, other times, once or twice. No rules, just went with my eating instincts. Low carb keeps insulin levels low, ensuring you can return quickly to burning fat.

Having that window stopped any urge to snack and it was much easier to tell yourself you can eat a full meal the next day, than constantly feel you had to restrict yourself against your eating instincts.

Honestly wouldn’t knock it.

I'm 13 years old and 110 lbs and 5'2. My friends told me that I'm fat and my parents told me that I am thin (maybe because they're ancient Asian parents) I don't know what to do. Should I try to lose weight or listen to my parents?
