@BilalAhmed-y1eI kept thinking I was gonna find something I had to try here, but mostly I think not. When you DIY thingsin this style, things LOOK quality, but have all kinds of quality and use issues that make it less worthwhile. What happens when you want to use fresh flowers in your not-washable painted vase? What happens when someone wants to carry your ornamental tray by the handles because --you know--It's a tray? My one favorite of these though is the fancy rope mirror frame at the end. It looks ornate and could be made in many style and with many different string and ropes--even Christmas lights in a tube, and it works as a seasonal wreath, picture frame, mirror frame, circular bulletin board frame --lots of good options. It doesn't seem overly difficult to clean and is surprisingly fast for the effects. I could see someone who really knows macreme working it into a very large and ornate project to great effect. And there's no stupid trickery with materials that's going to be a letdown as soon as you touch a thing and realize it isn't stone or tera cotta or marble.
