13 Minutes That'll Save You 10 Years in Music Production

In m experience as a music producer, artists and writers almost NEVER want the very first beat that you play them. They will nod to it and vibe with it and even tell you how great it is, but I think subconsciously they feel like they NEED to hear more before choosing. So now I make sure the first 2 beats will peak their interests (but I'm using those tracks really to sell my musicality) and then, my 3rd-5th tracks are always amazing and typically the ones I worked the longest on. I have found a great deal of success doing this.

as a song writer im a beast i can write 5 songs a day with perfect flow and musical composition. BUT I have realized that when I write a lot of songs in a short period of time I start running out good lyrics I start just repeating myself and throwing weak bars but since I compose perfectly they still bangers

When I rest for a couple days or even a week and then write a songs it's full of crazy bars

Recorded on my birthday! I have a song melody, lyrics etc I just came to me one night based on world events basically a protest song. What do I do next? I can sing (choir, played piano, flute & handbells) but I don’t have any of the tech or even a microphone. Just recorded singing in the bathroom as it had the best acoustics & soundproofing. Later I tinkered around with it in Ai just to see if it works as a song etc timing wise with the lyrics. Ai is great but how do I use my voice to the melody with no computer tech knowledge. Where do I even start? I don’t even know if I’m asking the right questions but if you’re a musician or anyone who has any feedback please comment. I’d appreciate it & thanks so much for this video.
