You use to be able to get across town in about twenty minutes. Now you better plan on about 45 minutes driving on the streets. If you use the freeway certain times a day you better plan on longer. If you go to the strip they charge you for everything. So please please stay home. If you do move here move to this idiots neighborhood.

People moving here need to do their homework before moving. If you watch the national news Las Vegas is basically mentioned for sports and entertainment (fluff news) but the extreme heat last was barely mentioned and I heard nothing about the heat related deaths. Meanwhile all they talk about the national news is the weather back east like every 5 minutes. I knBasically anything negative that might affect people visiting or moving here probably won’t be reported. Las Vegas is very concerned about padding the visitors and residents numbers

Regarding professionalism, Las Vegas has never failed to disappoint me when it comes to the level of professionalism and knowledge I experience from people. If you take one step off of the strip, the level of customer service that people will try to use as an example of professionalism evaporates.

I feel like you should only move here if you have your shit together and just want to experience something new. Being poor in Vegas is almost worst than being poor in LA. Being homeless in Vegas is definitely worse than being homeless in La.

There are many things that would make you not like it if you are coming here to work a regular hourly job that doesn’t pay a ton. I would only move here if you have a good amount of income, good career and plan on buying a house.
