I love Mad Men, I am on my 4th rewatch. Every time I notice more and more. I can’t explain what draws me back in but it’s like the first time every time.

"Mad Men" (2007-2015)

It’s funny because in the end of The Suitcase, you see that iconic photo of Muhammed Ali knocking down his opponent which is the strategy they are going with. They didn’t even have to work all night, the idea just showed up in the morning paper

"Bo Burnham: Inside" (2021)

Oh my god this is so good. I just watched some moron "rank character endings" for this show and I was about to open my skull. You fucking get it, you get this show is the great American novel of television in that it is just about this guy's fucking life for 10 years. Thank you I hope to see more quality content about this. Also would love to see some Sopranos analysis I know it starts out pretty genre-y but the last season alone must be seen.

I would start from the beginning. It feels out of place to start at the end

Vince Gilligan > Taylor Sheridan

Over analyzing? More like under-PEGGYyzing..... you know now that I lay here and typing I wonder if when Peggy was.... ZZZZzzzzzzzzzz......

@thollstitched

i like your analysis of don and sally's relationship

@vzzzz-j5i

Strong disagree. Don came close to becoming a person, but then instead just comodified the "connection" he found to humanity. It's the crime of his generation, and it's a tragedy. He was not saved. He ruined it.

Favorite show of all time

Leonard is an anagram for Real Don..

Must disagree. Faye is terrible. She and Don have no chemistry. Their relationship was boring.🥱

Finally somebody speaks on Glenn. Lil dude gave me the creeps

@MrBaskins2010

I would ignore Glen too. Norman Bates wannabe. Also given the showrunner’s… scandals his kid having a weird pseudo relationship with Betty has a whole different connotation. 18:48

I like your opinion that X4 means Lane Pryce, the ex-fourth partner.

When Don took a swing at Duck for making a rude remark about Peggy, I remembered Pete punching Ken for calling her a lobster ”because all the meat is in the tail”.

I am happy that Mad Men is becoming a thing on YouTube. A while ago there was nothing but scenes videos. Now we have great community that actively analyzes a show that ended years ago and still greatly enjoys. I mean this is my fun time. Thank you. I wish I had the financial means to support you and your channel. Thank you, deeply

Don and Peggy are easily the best characters, or at least the most compelling relationship in the show

This is adding to my rainy day

I fall asleep most nights with Mad Men playing in the background. I was born in 1958 and the show is amazing in the details of my childhood. I think I should see if there is a 12 step program for Mad Men.

You could analyze mad men for 24 hours and I wohld never get bored of it.
