Well this guy has obviously never been to the west side of Columbus 😂😂😂 I use to do construction work for companies and fix stuff on houses, and there is houses on the west side of Columbus that have so many roaches the walls crawl, I mean literally I've never seen anything like it, and people were paying rent,living there, and the landlords were slum lords...there was so many roaches they were busy and out durring the day time,they didnt even bother to hide...and when the bed bug epidemic was going around 10 or 15 years ago or more, some apartments held them so bad in Wedgewood and other places that the walls were covered in red dots from people killing them and the blood squirting on the walls...I still get the heebee jeebees thinking about it....when you would go home from work you would just throw your clothes away😂

The conditions are not out of a horror movie. It's a sad picture of people being totally overwhelmed by poverty, so many children & inadequate organisational skills. I had parents who had 8 children because my mother was an idealistic Catholic. They were chaotic & disorganised & overwhelmed with an inadequate income. Neither parent meant to be incapable but the result was a dirty lousy family, conflict & children who were embarrassed & ashamed & not able to have a decent childhood.

I kept changing my opinion as more facts were revealed.

The authorities were clearly aware of these children being born. They were born in hospitals, they all have birth certificates. So why didn’t anyone ever enquire about these children? Why did nobody ever question why school places were not allocated? Even if homeschooling was registered, the authorities will do checks. This is the case where I am anyways. I just understand how 16 children slipped through the cracks. And yes, I believe Elizabeth was also a victim and didn’t know better. She was 13 when she met their son. The grandmother is probably the mastermind behind the crime.

Why would a mother who truly loves her children stand by and watch them starve and suffer and DO NOTHING for 18 long years. There have been so many opportunities. I pity those poor innocent victims. So awful.

I think that Elizabeth hurt the children, they all were mean to the children. I think there was alcohol and drugs involved. If they are let out before trial they will all be a flight risk. They have nowhere to go so then that's another cost on the county. I hope there is a kind of halfway house for Elizabeth to stay in, as she is rumoured to be pregnant, until her trial. I don't care about the others. They're all guilty. Being poor does not equal living in filth. It's downright negligence. I bet they were doing alright for payouts for the children though. As I live in Wisconsin I would be interested to know where they lived here too.
