Just picked up palworld a couple weeks ago and man... pokemon needs to knock this game out of the park cause I've put more hours into palworld than I've ever put into a pokemon game and im still enjoying it.

None of that is gonna happen for DS games because everything has tradeoffs. There's exactly 0% chance they're gonna resurrect the Wii U gamepad or do an attachable screen😂
We literally already have the formula for DS games on Switch: BDSP. The worthwhile games will get faithful remakes adjusting the 2nd screen content for a single screen device.

After being embarresed by Palworld this past 2 weeks, I highly doubt they'd drop a trailer, they'll wait for the Palworld hype to die down a bit before they release anything.

Game is gonna be a disaster... They saw palworld 1.0 midway of developing this game and its too late to really update it to beat the competition. Winds/Waves will get the money/exposure from the disney... sorry pokemon fans at the start but watch... a few months in and people will start realizing how trash it will be next to palworld. yall need to hold nintendo accountible more cuz omg. i would say skip this gen and wait for the one after.

There won't ever be a secondary screen because that defeats the console dock. It would only be useable in handheld mode and the majority of gamers use it docked

I feel like that whole "Wind actually changes move range and projectile direction" thing might mean that the direction of the wind might affect the accuracy of ranged attacks. For example, Tailwind summons a gust of wind behind the user and their team, meaning that maybe that team's projectile range will be increased while the opposing team's will be decreased. A part of me doubts that the gameplay mechanics will be more like Scarlet/Violet rather than Legends.

I still say you can just re-work the DS and 3DS games on Switch 2 by make them a single screen. And you just hit a button to switch to the other screen only when needed. Like hitting X switching to the other screen with menus and whatnot.

Since Pikachu was shown in the reveal trailer for Winds and Waves, I hope we get a 2nd regional form for Raichu that's ⚡️/🧚‍♀️ since Raichu and its Alolan form can learn Fairy type moves in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet/Z-A.
