It should be noted that the brake handles are on the opposite side for US bikes. The back brake is on the right, the front is on the left of your handle bars.

I rarely stand up to accelerate my bike these days. When coming to a stop I make sure I have shifted to easiest gear ratio; but then, I’m 74-years-old.
I do okay for age 74. My top speed on a flat surface is about 18 - 20 miles an hour and my long rides are from 30 to 35 miles.
I started riding a bike because running now hurts my knees. Since riding – no more knee pain.

Does a few basic cycling skills include making sure you don't hold up traffic, not running red lights?

@ssaammiiWhat gear should one be in to ride out of the saddle?
@johoppin7560Would love to see a longer, more detailed tutorial on cornering
@joangopin4022Wanted to go on a bike ride and just went to YouTube to see how people cycle as a sport, pure curiosity. Found the braking stuff interesting, as im terrified of using my front brake (got yeeted over the handlebars once, never again 😂) but realized I do the cornering thing naturally. Mainly because of balance but also because I think it’s fun
@Pandi_CraftYTPeople serious about cycling have to be joking
@billybull7419Don't think this is the video for me with my little Dutch bike with the basket on the front 😂
@Jenny-tl7gkBraking is so important to learn i had so many scary times where drivers just reverse out of their driveway without looking it is so important to practice fast braking
@nikolamitrovic9484i am a beginner and when i cycling i have a neckache. Do you have solution for this?
@BaoSonNguyenTheSorry I didn’t quite understand how to brake properly. Should you just hit the front wheel brake and leave the back wheel break alone? Vice versa? Use both?
@veronicatomas4621Tip 6 - Don’t put your fingers in a moving chain.
@MikeRey785I don't got those fancy bikes, I just wanna know what I'm doing wrong that causes me to feel like I'm boutta pass out on the first up-hill ;-;
(Other than me being out of shape)

@woopsieAHwhat is a new cyclist? 4-5 yrs old maybe
@davidjones-vx9juNice video! Sadly it didnt contain a syllable of the info i was hoping to find 😐
@SnedzTheBricklayerjust started road biking - i was coming looking for tips like “here’s the arm signals to learn” and “here’s how to ensure your seat is at the right height” LOL. You guys rock though and i’ll come back for some of these tips once I figure out a good height for my seat. hahaha!
@kaseyingham395To make a video for beginners, many details were missing
@MichakadiR wearing a scarf please make sure its not long since if it gets stuck on the wheel it could possibly choke you!!
Stay safe loves ♡
Who is the cameraman?
@Ceeo_7I bought a brand new Specialized Diverge E5 and immediately wobbled out and stuffed it into the curb 0 feet into the first ride. Very embarrassing. Hopefully it doesn't cost too much to fix and hopefully the next ride goes better. Well it can't go much worse unless I get run over by a semi.
@THEUrinalCakefak
@errorvanishCan’t believe you done the whole pavement getting on your bike thing smh
