4 Years Later: Reconstructing the Final Moments of John O'Keefe | The Albert House Deep Dive

Video Overview & Insights

Today marks four years since the passing of Officer John O'Keefe. For four years, the public has been presented with two extremes: a pre-planned altercation or a vehicle strike. But between those two theories lies a "Middle Path" - a series of tragic, human mistakes and a split-second panic that changed everything.

Today we remember Officer John O’Keefe. 💙

On this 4th anniversary, the best way we can honor John O’Keefe is by refusing to settle for anything less than the truth.

Rest in peace, John.

— @CaseAnalysisOfficial

This one hour deep dive explores a grounded, realistic sequence of events that the evidence actually supports.

Remembering Officer John O'Keefe (1976-2022).

I don't 100% agree this is what happened, but it is a good theory. The dog definitely played a role. If I do go by your theory, the only thing I take issue with is Higgins keeping everyone out of the room so him and Albert can come up with a plan. If a dog is barking/biting/scratching and going crazy over a stranger being in the house then Okeefe would surely be screaming and yelling at the dog to get it off, with the family room being such an open floor plan, the other people would have gotten up and looked in the room to see what was going on and hear the commotion with the proximity to the kitchen. Needless to say, they are all sick people and guilty of the cover up and trying to turn what may have been an accident into a murder and framing an innocent person for it.

Omg...Jen McCabe clearly admitted at 48:54 that something happened "inside" & she makes it very clear the kids "had no involvement...what happened outside is separate from anything that happened inside"" She's making it clear that the kids had no involvement iin any way to what happened to John insidethat house. That also explains her sister attacking turtleboy at CF McCartheys & saying "how many siblings do you have, has anyone stuck up for you?" And she says "you didn't even know John, why do you care" Giving us an idea how she deals with covering up her sister's secret of John's true death because she didn't know him so why should she care. She keeps fighting aiden kearney repeating "I'll stick up for my family" This is how this family fights to protect eachother & they don't give a shit who they hurt in the process as long as their family is protected. Jen even admits "I was trying to piece together the time"

40:48 His reaction & expressions are so telling right here Especially at 41:38 when he takes in that deep breath & even bigger sigh! It's written all over his face! I've always believed this was a terrible accident that got outta hand! Unfortunately they weren't about to take a chance & take the blame for it & lose everything! Higgins basically admitted where John fell at 45:16 when he said "I would've had my back to that area" then he begins stuttering as he "corrects" himself & says"back, back, my back to the, the the door that I came in" Right there he said "that area" meaning the area where John was . I think his guilt is eating him alive & that's why he cries on the stand when he talks about John's niece & nephew & he also cries as he mentions plowing John's driveway, because it makes him think about John's family! I think they originally thought they could make it look like John slipped & hit his head outside without them even knowing he was there then Jen proposed the idea to make it look like Karen hit him whenever they found him & Karen said "OMG Could I have hit him? I think they believed it would be treated like a terrible accident & never dreamed it would spiral outta control into murder charges because they're so used to getting outta trouble & being above the law & We all know they never expected Karen to hire perhaps the greatest team of attorneys on Earth & the whole world finding out what liars & crooks they are! Also , the house defendants go into great detail on the stand when they talk about which doors everyone went in & out of, providing what seems like way too much unnecessary detail And the parents go outta their way to give us lots of details to exclude all of the kids.

18:24 2 to 2-3min is a lot actually, even if she took a long pee and a poop, even though it wasn't snowing a lot yet it was still cold, blowing, and snowing,,, and you'd think if Brian jr didn't know or didn't remember if his dad waited by the door for the dog he would have said he didn't recall. I bet there was a reason jr remembered his dad didn't stay by the door, probably bc he was kibitzing and chatting with his friends

5:36 rewatching bc it's such a great video. And this reminds me of a friend of ours that was drinking alone at his house,in his back yard,by his little fire pit. And also was taking Xanax. It was his typical Saturday night thing. Sometimes others would be there. But on this evening he was alone with his dog. His neighbor found him the next morning. He had fallen backwards off his front stoop as he was going to go inside. He wasn't deceased about complete unconscious and had the racoon eyes, from a terrible skull fracture, the entire back of his skull. From falling backwards onto the concrete driveway. And the stoop/porch wasn't tall, just like a 2-3" tall slab,no steps. But his full body weight back from a standing position. He was life flighted to the trauma hospital in Chicago, thankfully only lived a few blocks fm our maniciple airport. But had probably been laying in the driveway for 5ish hours, the last cell activity was about 2am and I think the neighbors found him at 7. The doctors tried and even removed some skull to help the swelling and bleeding but he had no brain activity and his parents had to make the decision to pull the plug. He was only, like, 35. But we did go see him in the hospital two days after, the day before his parents took him off life support and his face looked exactly like John's. Swollen and black and blue eyes,

I just want someone to come forwarded with the truth, but since that will never happen, maybe on someone's death bed the truth will come out. It's sad that officer JO family cant see what's right in front of them, and i can see all the way from Indianapolis, IN with my blind ass glasses off!!! But was a reason John had custody of his sister kids and not his mother?

Can't believe that cops blame Karen for this when they did it because not there first time probably why b. Albert acts so aggressive alot like tuff guy because he knows he can get away with it but not this time I think b. Higgins left before John got there I not one I think for conflict he didn't seem to be to aggressive or like he cared because he knew ge wasn't there said in his text oh heard what just happened talking with Albert and dog bites while if that doesn't tell you something then some are just dumb

This all makes so much sense. BA and BH are first responders themselves. Perhaps they felt they could not save OJO. Then, out of fear of being sued, they decided to conceal the true accident. But who decided to frame Karen Read? I believe it was Proctor’s idea.

who knows if? albert threw JOK down the stairs and JOK had a glass in his hand. whereupon the dog attacked and bit JOK in the arm/ JOk had a mortal head wound / Jok was dying and then Albers and Higgins dragged him into the roadside ditch where he died on the spot shortly afterwards in the morning/ then Higgins and Proctor hatched the plan to blame Karen Read ?

If you have such long answers, it usually means that you are not really honest.

Lots of unnecessary information, it is rehearsed from a script.

Bad that the witnesses behave like that, but very bad that the police do a dishonest job, but the worst is the DA who has prosecuted KR a second time.

The judge's behavior is beyond criticism, so biased, act like a prosecutor.

I am an older man from Sweden so I don't know your legal system fully, but I understand that it is not a fair trial for KR.

But it ended well, thanks to a jury that could see and hear all the BS.

When KR was acquitted, tears of joy ran down my cheek.

This case has affected many people around the world.

The truth will come out eventually I think.

It is sad that JoK's family can't accept the truth that KR did not run over JoK.

Thank you for all the work you do with the videos!!

I think it did happen in the garage where the concrete ledge was it is more like the smooth fine pepple surface rype pattern( concrete is smoother smaller bumpy surface than the rougher rigid pattern of the fireplace bricks. It would be very helpful to know if there were any doggy doors that the dog used to go in/out. Especially ones placed in the garage/breezeway areas that would have allowed her to be when John arrived and may have suprised her since it was dark and normally no one would be in that area especially a man she did not know causing her natural intinct of protecting her domain and family.

@Tarina-x5r

Wow to have this info presented, with all the times/data provided and some common sense is a realstic and probable cause of the death of John O Keefe. Chloe( who didnt like people) was lstill outsde when Mr O Keefe arrived and either came upon the dog and for some reason she attacked him with him being drinking could very well gotten knocked down or tripped and fell trying to get the dog off him and thats when he hit his head thus ultimately caused his death . When the however decided to let the dog in then finds John. They then decide to cover up the accident by fabricating a story implicating an innocent person just to preserve their precious image in the community and not get charged for negligence or any crime at all that would be harmfull to their egos instead of just doing the right and moral thing calling the police and telling the truth. We all have seen Jen McCabes narcassistic, better than everyone behavior /attitude would be just the reason the cover up was set into play instead of the truth coming out. Im sure she pulls the puppet strings that are atrached to her hubby.

Complete theory...

Explanation theory

John O’Keefe was injured outside at 34 Fairview (by the dog Chloe + a fall on ice/pole/fire hydrant
Jenn had opened the breeze door to welcome JOK and the dog slipped out
Or she had let the dog out for some time and closed the door.
Maybe she did not see the dog attacking JOK at all.
Karen had dropped John off and saw nothing unusual when she drove away.

During the dog attack.

John tries to defend himself, sustaining multiple cuts and scratches on his arms from the dog’s teeth and claws.
The hat had blown away during or before the dog attack.
The shoe ended up a few meters away because the dog had it in its mouth as a trophy, played with it, and threw it.
He falls backward hard nearby the garage
He suffers a blunt-force head injury
His phone ends up beside or under him. Broken glass from the thrown cocktail glass lies nearby, possibly causing some additional minor cuts or abrasions as he fell or was moved.
Broken glass from the thrown cocktail glass lies nearby,
possibly cause of additional minor cuts or abrasions as he fell or was moved.

Discovery

Option 1

Jen goes outside discoveres JOK, informs Brian Albers or Albers Higgins/ Jennifer McCabe) shocked.
They make a short attempt to drag him inside. They stop when they believe he is dead/ raccoon eyes
They found him at the garage.

Albers and/or Higgins plan to erase traces

Brian Higgins, takes the white Jeep and plows the sidewalk. He deliberately pushes JOK and snow onto the berm in the direction of the flagpole area. His goal is to cover and erase traces of the dog attack — including blood spatters at the garage, in the snow, paw prints, drag marks, and other evidence. While plowing, he may also have feared that he accidentally struck John hard (already died or dying ), with his Jeep. The plowing significantly obscures the scene. The plowing may have caused the fatal blow.

(Karen had kissed Higgins after complaining about JOK / Higgins maybe had sent agressive messages aiming JOK to Karen/ being a suspect /a motive for destroying his phone/ creating an alibi by driving going to PD and be recorded by security cameras.)

Option 2 – Accidental plowing (panic afterward)

Brian Higgins did not know JOK lay in the berm, he plows for fun as he later stated... part of the sidewalk with his white Jeep. He pushes snow onto the berm in the direction of the flagpole area. This partially covers and replaced John and erases or obscures many physical traces (footprints, drag marks, tire tracks).
When Higgins discovered JOK he panicked, fearing he may have accidentally run over or struck John with the Jeep while plowing.
Some of John’s injuries (abrasions or bruises) may have been caused or worsened severeby contact with the plow blade or pushed snow/ice.
He quickly went inside and informed Brian Albert/ Jennifer McCabe).

Higgis maybe got a black ATF bag and tried to help.
Some time later they went to look at John, were shocked by the raccoon eyes, and thought he was dead.
After that, they placed John some meters away in the berm.
The phone was with John all the time .
36 steps are the frame struglle fight with biting dog/ walking running.
The 3 meter can be explained by walking up (and down and up) the hilly berm
Higgings drove to the PD, where he was recorded on Surveilance camere creating an alibi
Getting a new ATF bag/ The original ATF Bag with blood stains was later dumped at the airforce base with his phone and sim.

Immediate response

No 911 call
No emergency services are called.
The group is overwhelmed by:
The dog attack on their property.
Higgins’ fear (real or stated) that he hit John with the Jeep.
The desire to protect the house, reputations, and the alcohol-fueled gathering.
Albers knew that bite wound analysis would point to Chloe, so they considered moving or replacing the dog.
Framing Karen
The rest of the people in the house had not seen John while partying.

Contact with Proctor

Brian Albert calls Michael Proctor on the phone.
Proctor (sober) is informed. They discuss options.
Proctor devises the plan: frame Karen Read — make it look like she struck John with her SUV and left him to die.
Later alberts and proctor instructed everyone not to talk about the dog.
They couldn’t place John somewhere else because they would have no explanation.

Early morning

Before the arriving of firebrigade and ambulance
Proctor arrives at the scene. He scatters broken red taillight fragments around John’s body to support the hit-and-run narrative.
Red light pieces from smashing the Lexus b light in the PD sally port)
He takes control and directs the investigation toward Karen.

Karen may have already been driving with a broken/cracked taillight.
Mention: The red pieces could have come off at 34 Fairview due to another light collision (with a car or a pole or something else)
or proctor placed some pieces at the scene short before the fire brigade and ambulance arrived

Around 6:00 a.m.

Karen Read returns with others and discovers John in the snow.

Evidence concealment

Brian Albert wipes portions of his phone data.
Higgins destroys or removes his phone (or relevant data) to hide contacts and activity that night.
The rest of the people in the house remain asleep and unaware.
She becomes hysterical, repeatedly saying variations of “I hit him.” By this time, raccoon eyes from the skull fracture are visible.

Key Injury Explanations in This Theory

Arm cuts/scratches — Primarily from the dog attack (teeth + claws).
Glass-related wounds — Minor cuts/abrasions from the broken cocktail glass John threw (during the fall or brief dragging).
Possible plow-related marks — Some abrasions, bruises, or scrapes from the white Toyota Jeep plow blade or pushed snow/ice.
Fatal head injury — From the backward fall onto frozen ground or the white jeep snowplow
Raccoon eyes — Developed later from the basilar skull fracture.

Mentions

The PD also did not look at the pole, the metal or hard base plate of the flagpole, and the fire hydrant. They also did not investigate anything inside the Albert house. They should have made bite impressions of the teeth of the dog Chloe and compared them with the wounds on John O’Keefe’s left arm.
PD did not research if evidence/ red backlight pieces fit together and match with the missing part of the broken Lexus Backlight.
Proctor (who had a grudge against Karen) took the lead in planting the red taillight pieces (via the sally port).
Higgins destroyed his own phone data because of messages with Karen (her complaints about John and possible “agressive text or threats against JOK , out of fear that he would look suspicious.
Higgins went to the police station that night, possibly to create an alibi on camera.
Albers destroyed phone data by upgrading covering his contact with proctor and higgins
They should have made bite impressions of the teeth of the dog Chloe and compared them with the wounds on John O’Keefe’s left arm.
The snowplow of Higgins' Jeep was never investigated, nor was his Jeep itself.
It is possible that Higgins hit John with it. That could explain the injuries… which look like the result of a car accident, except for the bite wounds
Higgins stated he had plowed for fun that night. Maybe hours after the dog attack and JOK lying in the berm
Only a small group was involved in first instance at first, explaining lack of mass panic inside the house.
Maybe only Proctor, Albers and/or Higgins where part of the cover up.

Higgins plowing?
Proctor placing red piecves from a smashed red backlight and one strip transparent plastic
vollected in the Sally port Garage.

The delayed discovery explains why the raccoon eyes were visible when they found him.
Albers lied about the dog and attack etc. Troopers did not know what happened
At the trial judje Bever seems to be corrupt, protecting commonwealth PD and albers/ elite
Finally most involved lied about the dog/ except those who had left before the attack and had seen nothing.

@StanRams
@

theory after the dog attack outside /maybe no one knew about some hours later maybe ...3 00 pm higgins accidentaly plowed and hit unconsious or passsed away JOK or on purpose to erase evidence and rushed to the PD to create an alibe on s camera after informing albers and or proctor/ and some time later proctor after beeing informed by Brian Albers/ or Higg planned to frame KR by placing red backlight pieces at the scene.// The glass could be on the berm /thrown away by JOK after Karen in drove away after arguing/ brian and higgins destroyed mobile data /in this theory all pieces fit together. (However there other theories and another theory > Maybe Colin murdered JOK at the garage driveway/using his fists and a weapon fe a fire place poke or basball bat<

option 2 maybe Jen found JOK outside... or Higg found JOK outside after JOK was attacked by the dog and saw he was badly injured from the fall on ice on a metal pole plate or o the fire hydrant...... then higg dragged JOK away and later back to the berm......... later he discussed how to cover up with albers proctor and others/// they framed Karen by placing red backlight pieces from the lexus... after the sally port operation...breaking a backlight etc

@StanRams
@

Maybe JOK was attacked by the dog and he fell on the brick open fire wall/ mortally injured/ then higgins slept JOK outside and the rest is cover up to frame Karen by proctor and co... and people lying under oath at the trials
