@aaronkahn-bork1120How interesting. I have zero finance, business, investing training and am close to clueless when listening to this level of nuance. Trained in medical sciences but know so little of trading. Am enjoying hunting beginner videos from this channel to continue learning. I've done nothing more than sell some puts for what I think is an attractive entry point into an equity and sold a couple calls. This is a different world but fascinating.

@stonedbunny5721Make it super easy on yourself and just trade the index futues themselves. It's like using MACD to help decide when to buy or sell. MACD is made off of price (moving averages off of price actually). Why not just use price. MACD is always lagging. Almost all "indicators" are lagging. Price on futures are leading. 2 or 3 good setups, trading 1 or 2 index futures contracts is all you need. You don't need to go searching... novices search. Pros wait. The only thing I ever search for is wealth trades. I find those by looking for good companies that are trading below their 200 simple moving avearge and have started to go sideways. Those trades are years long trades. I always choose companies that give out dividends for those wealth trades. That way if they just keep going sideways I am making the dividend. If price goes lower, I look at it as a gift at getting even more of a great company at an even better price. This is way different than trading (swing and day) which are completely based off of risk to reward and setups, using money managment ... not risking for than 2% on any one trade. Ever.
