I f he hits his incentives, then he is probably worth the extra $s. He is not the #1 receiver anyway and one year from now the value will be reset and he may look like a bargain. 44% of the time he wasn't in the slot and he had a thousand yard season. Panthers trade andy dalton to the eagles for a 7th round pick in 2027 was a steal (S/O to Dan Morgan). Andy is older and lost most of his mobility and consistency. Plus he was originally a 35th round pick. He mostly served as a great qb mentor to Bryce Young, but as far as playing on the field goes, he ain't it.
