5 CHEAP Handbag Brands EVERYONE IGNORES (Absolute GOLDMINES)

Whether or not these prices mentioned are actual/current, that quality for a small difference i pricing mentioned, id definitely look at these other makers when im able to afford to splurge. Which... i really should be doing more often for myself. I deserve it! 🥰

— @SharonMyers-e5n

A Pol ne Numero Un costs $390. A Saint Laurent Sac de Jour costs $3,150. The exact same Italian-grade calfskin. The bag is not.

Five cheap handbag brands are using the same materials as the fashion houses charging eight times the price. The pattern is the same in every category. Cut the wholesale layer. Cut the boutique rent. Cut the licensing fee. The bag arrives at your door with the materials intact and the markup gone.

What about Patricia Nash? Is that considered classy?

— @Mallidora

This breakdown covers the five most overlooked direct-to-consumer and emerging women's handbag brands delivering full-grain leather construction at a fraction of designer pricing. No brand deals. No sponsorships. The receipts are inside the bag, and we read every one of them.

Brands covered in this video:

These are so boring. I get that they are classic shapes n colors but hey id rather go to loewe for basics & lv for whimsy. I guess to each their own.

— @rinichen7261

- Songmont

- Pol ne

Thank you - I appreciate all of your knowledge! I will make fewer and better decisions re: handbags because of watching your video

— @lalawyergal1

- Cuyana

- Mansur Gavriel

All the brands mentioned are very expensive to the average person. But nowadays good leather is hard to find. Here in the U.S. an option is Portland Leather.

— @elleadolls7283

- Demellier London

Four shopping tests every woman should run before paying designer prices:

Wonderful ! Fed up of every one flashing their loud logos and indirectly advertising for free 😂
I finally came across class and luxury !
Thanks to you and the few minority that don’t follow but remain original and discrete ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏

- The leather grade test

- The stitch-count test

L'Tannieur is a brand that is top quality and relatively affordable. I think they've been around a long, long time. I usually swap my bags often, but I've been using on of their bags every day for over a year and it still looks great! It's about a $600 bag. But it's exceptional quality and the style is timeless.

- The edge-finishing test

- The hardware weight test

love these lists, thanks!

I have a Dior bag which peeled on the rim. It was hardly used and kept in the dust bag. Took it back to Dior who told me the rim is not leather but pvc and they dont cover any repair for this. The bag is as good as new but looks bad with peeling rims.

The older leather bags are heavier than modern equivalent. I used Mulberry and Coach bags for 25 years before reselling. My new Demellier ‘brass’ hardware has scratched but I love it. I have used a Chesneau leather bag, for 45 years. There are bags for fashion and bags for longevity. Buy best quality you can afford for work and it will repay you, even when worn has quality.

Coach is better quality than all these brands. The straps never fray and I’ve had these bags for years. Stop trash talking Coach.

True, but I'd rather save up for a while and buy a quality handbag. Cheap ruins sn outfit. I don't know why the average woman needs a lot of handbags. Women buy way too much cheap fashion. Quality always shows. It's quiet, understated and elegant. I have bought good quality handbags from the shopping channel we have in Canada. I know they are available in the US. Amy Kestenberg, American Leather are good brands.

I’ve got a small handbag, 25 by 12 cm with a brought but short shoulder strap and a flip over buckle with a magnet closing and a zipper. ❤It’s from Bever’s Paris!❤
After 30 years of daily use there is no wear and tear or even a scratch. No zipper problems, no magnet problems even the intricate design on the magnet looks like new just as the hardware.
It’s my favorite handbag! ❤

@m.e.visser4976

It’s still very expensive

Impressive
How can we procure these bags

@anjusharma1504
@

I have had the Cuyana bag for years. I also have the makeup bags, coin purses, and laptop sleeves. I love the leather and design, but they do get heavy with all the sleeves and accessories that match and snap inside. `00% check it out - truly fewer, better.

Songmont! & Polene

@pauline-my
@

The worst is Fendi I was gifted from NM logo rubbed off, stitching came undone, lining ripped 😱 piping at base of bucket worn & torn. I’m very easy on my bags, & am cautious & treasure them ❤️

Coach is wonderful if you are buying retail not outlet.

where is 390.00 cheap?

@5devinnbruce

The luxury handbag reviewer/deconstructor, Tanner Leatherstein, bought then literally ripped apart handbags to access material, construction and hardware grading each component and assigning $ amounts. He has probably reviewed all or most of the brands mentioned. He is Stow London’s Director of Craftsmanship and is founder of direct-to-consumer brand PEGAI and Atelier PEGAI.

I have two bags from Radley London for many years and they still in great shape

@andressblogs5565

Songmont Luna is now $350. perhaps still a good buy, but not $150-200. Numero un sells for $580, not $390. etc

Strathberry is also amazing!

How to purchase one of these bags when they sell from their European stores only? Do they all have websites?

@nancyvalenza6330
@

Parisa Wang makes such wonderful bags that you hate to put them down. They’re absolutely stunning. There’s a decided balance that you feel the instant you pick them up. Exquisite materials, design, craftsmanship.
I also love Demellier, Cuyana, Fendi, Cole Haan, and a fabulous twenty year old cognac colored Marc Jacobs tote that looks like it was carried off from the set of The English Patient. I adore a beautiful mid range bag.
