I have all of them.... But only as a grownup. Is it possible that u didn't have any of the symptoms of ADHD till mid twenties and then develop it only after starting to do job and then end up developing all the symptoms u mentioned in this video?
Because as a Child and as a teenager I was so attentive and could focus very well, studying for hours without interruption, hypokinetic compared to my siblings and other kids around me , was in complete control of my mind and behaviour.... But now, M completely the opposite to what I used to be as a child or as a teenager.

What hurts is when people close to you know you have bad ADHD and say it's understandable but then gets a little upset when you forget stuff all the time

Reading is also a difficulty for me. I had the problem of reading lesser known words as I’m always predicting words rather than reading as it is. Just for example I may read ‘comfortable’ instead of ‘compatible’

I'm 61 and I literally found out TODAY 😮 It explains a lot lol when I was kid, they would just slap us and say "pay attention." Idk why but I'm finding this diagnosis pretty funny and can't stop laughing....is that another symptom?? Except for the brain part 😂

I happen to have all of these symptoms and still my psychiatrist tells me that this is normal and happens to all of us, that he thinks I dont need medicine because I have a job and I am married

I am seeing all of those.
@neelshah3216Is this ai ??
@stephmullin9709Lol it persist in 5%-75% of people . What a crazy margin
@WilliamWilliams-l9jI searched about this topic and voluntarily played this video. I'm halfway into it and I can't concentrate or stop thinking into new things coming into my brain, it's a constant struggle pls help I've been feeling I need a professional diagnosis 😂
@juu13570I had to put my cousin out recently because of his adhd. I wasn't strong enough to deal with his symptoms.
There was the fidgeting. Also, he started 3 different jobs in one week and tried to sign up for the Navy, all while he has no ID, social security card, or birth certificate. He's 41 years old with nothing to show for it. I just couldn't anymore...
My whole life has been… “Oh look, a butterfly…” and I’m sidetracked. We all go through something, but anybody else wish they could rewind their life and see the version of yourself without ADHD? It’s exhausting…💯
@mr.woowoo8826I am literally trying to watch this video and I caught myself wandering off so bad and I was only like 45 seconds in! next thing I know for 2 minutes and I have no idea what she said. I wonder if that's a sign😂😂😂😂😂😂
@RachaelDawn22My focus usually starts to fade after about two minutes of watching any video (including this one). It’s an unpleasant feeling—as if it suddenly becomes uninteresting, even though I wanted to watch it just a minute ago. It’s painful.
@patrikhruby1697anyone have to restart this video like 5 times already
@world.on.fire2024It really frustrates me when people say that having ADHD automatically makes someone a creative genius or gives them a “superpower.”
For example, I was talking in a support group about how I struggle to start or finish tasks unless I’m under a very tight deadline. Someone—I don’t remember who—framed that experience as a “superpower.” But what kind of superpower makes you feel anxious, angry, inadequate, sad, or hopeless? This pattern is genuinely harmful to my well-being.
I understand the intention behind trying to reframe something negative in a positive light. But pushing these kinds of narratives can dismiss the very real challenges people face. Not everyone with ADHD is a creative genius, and it’s not a superpower to stay up all night finishing something that I had weeks—or even months—to complete.
No idea this is healthy but at this point, I just have blocked or tone out my own thoughts to a degree I no longer get vivid image imagery in my head so no idea if that related that and copious amounts of weed
@EquitumEtConquesti use the grass to help with my adhd and it works wonders. I refuse to use any big pharma meds
@JerrythebatmanAs a 50+ AuDhd'er I can appreciate who did make this video loads, this kind of thing made by people who can do all that collating whats relevant, how to present in an order that makes sense to an atypical and be able to summarize without being triggered into pressured rushed speech at 398mph with all the words and thoughts in no set order but it all has to be emptied from the massive storage digital cogs system that gets filled with smoke and fog so I become angry frustrated and then devastated because I will be misunderstood or told " I am not being relevant " triggered into intense waves of sorrow causing not being able to speak then shutting down.......So Psych2Go...I salute you!!
@Pain_TabletHow about adult A.D.D i.e attention deficit disorder without hyperactivity.
@bradleysharpe4942A nonstop stream of thoughts + emotional roller-coaster + fear of judgment + being impulsive but also needing routine + executive function + delayed processing + masking it all so nobody notices = a very tough life! Loneliness due to lack of "like minded ppl" always feeling like you don't belong. Wondering WHY didn't anyone DO ANYTHING! I struggled my whole life & my family thought I was a "f-up" bad egg. Literally. That is Soul crushing PAIN that lasts a lifetime. But "Superpower " is how some ppl like to describe it. I mean I have enough adrenaline at times to attack a 🐻 lmao
@jillianbaer52175-75%???
@matthewkirwan1746I remember one time I ask my Psychiatrist what causes A.D.D. his responce was we don't know lazy bastard.

Literally just avoided dish washing to 🐂💩 and watch this video..! 🧽🧼🙅🏾♂️🤭
@alwayslevitated9089no my brain is most certaintly defective, ihate myself and my ADHD
@lemons708Thanks so much for this. I've known something was up with me for a while now, but I could never quite figure out what it was until recently. 32 years of age and I now realise I've been living with ADHD my whole life. I used to just think I was just stupid when comparing myself to others. That mixed together with chronic depression from my teenage years made a very toxic cocktail.
Realising and accepting that I have ADHD, and that I shouldn't be ashamed to ask for help has been incredibly freeing for me. Now I'm looking forward to learning how to turn it into a super power instead of something that has held me back my whole life.
Really contradictory.. I came to watch the ADHD video, but I can't focus when my eyes cross, and my fingertips tingle, that reader's voice. This is the sixth time I've listened to it, and I have no idea what they're talking about, as I'm floating in euphoria. This reader should definitely start an ASMR channel for ADHD people.. =) 😄
@BatFatManCan relate to it young ang most of it as I am older yeah
@mega-z7w1iIts scary how much i can relate to this video 😢
@charlesmcstabbinWhy am I watching the comments instead of the video 😂
@mullaway5746"due to an inability to visualize the final outcome"
WTF is this? As if we were stupid squirrels running around in circles without a clue of what's happening around us.
We have VERY vivid visualizations of the doom that comes upon us if we don't do certain things, but we're UNABLE TO DO THEM even if we want, even if we try, even if we know how, even if we experience the consequences, and that is what frustrates us so much. We keep failing at doing what we are supposed to do so we develop anxiety. We care too much for the stuff that we are supposed to be doing.
You need to stop talking water too fast .
@alangordon3283Does this condition with no solution ? I mean I know someone that do not look doctors help because does not like the doctor or just he is tired to take the medicine to help him.. in this case what do you do ?
@kikolenhadorI am neurotypical and have two autistic/ADHD siblings. I was keeping myself up at night wondering if I was also ADHD, bc why couldn't I get things done the way I wanted to.
Now I'm pretty sure that I'm not and it's so freeing. Also your voice is very soothing :)
How I LOATHE AI video content!!!
@MrsTM17Absolute nonsense. Stop trying to find a reason for your failures in life.
ADHD is not the answer just accept life ain't easy all the time.
I got ADHD and this voiceade me swith off after 5 seconds
@neverpromisedADHD is due to unresolved trauma, as are mental illnesses. Dr Gabor Mate.
Resolve the trauma, resolve the adhd and mental illness. Talk therapy works, drugs mask symptoms of trauma.
Incredible watching this, I'm an alcoholic consuming 60+ units a day, wife gone, house gone, Broke with ADHD, depression killing me, etc. I will continue fighting to get outta this hell, and I pray I find a solution. I heard a lot of people getting free and becoming the best version of themselves through different natural ways, and I hope I can find a better way out. Can't continue living this way.
@StevenWilson-s9mI'm so glad there's a name for my condition, now I just wish I can find proper treatment, I really want to accomplish my goals and dreams
@Reve14twelveI have ADHD but not diagnosed and the wait time was 3 years so at the age of 45 I thought what's the point in been diagnosed now it's not going to change anything just because a specialist agrees with what I already know
@eugbratI feel like you just described me
@jamesmcguire5018As ive grown older, its less hyperactive and more emotional burnout, it feels harder to say or express how i feel. I find myself dissociating all the time and struggle to relate to alot of people and build/maintain those relationships
@thesigmaaaaWhat were the 5 signs? I was busy reading the comments the entire time.
