Fun fact. An east coast state and west coast state are only 1 time zone apart. The northeast corner of Oregon is in mountain time and western Florida is in central time.

Thumbs down. While the narration may be accurate, whomever drew the maps doesn't know that:

1. Death Valley is southeast of Mt Whitney

2. US 2 contigously traverses the states of Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan

I stopped after 5 of the fifty.

The Pando quaking aspen, at about 108 acres, is dwarfed by Oregon's "humongous fungus," which at 2200 acres, is the largest living organism in the world.

The Reno farther west than LA is my trivia party trick but Sacramento and Carson City are NOT that high.

The maps are shockingly inaccurate. Your flag for Death Valley is really on Baskersfield

A questionably better comparison for Wyoming would be the Reno metro area. You can walk from south to north along the University of Nevada, Reno, and go from the casino-packed downtown to bare hills and high desert in a mile. Reno has sprawl going south admittedly, but that always blew my mind when I went to school there. The slogan fits

I literally just learned the Statue of liberty 🗽 being in New Jersey on my own while looking on Google Maps a few day's ago... I saw the statue of Liberty 🗽 in 2009 crossing over the Bridge 🌉 from Jersey to Manhattan

As a Rhode Islander, we are all used to our state being used as a system of measurement. Remember, it's not the size of your state that counts. 😉

1:59 / 24:59 it's never too late for you to learn to pronounce contiguous... 😩

5:14 / 19:21 while i had appreciated the earlier displayed metric values, they were not always available. :-<

14:22 that illustration seems quite uninspired, when you're trying to show Maine being LOWER than Oregon. Should've drawn the actual parallels not mere horizontal lines. 🙄

Is the graphic about the Portlands wrong? The video states Portland Oregon is further North the latitude the stated confirms that but the graphic shows Maine as more Northern. ???

FYI, São Paulo is sometimes only one hour ahead of Miami depending on what part of the year the US is in since Brazil doesn’t have daylight savings time.

Fact 15.1: It's "Daylight Saving Time." Not "Savings." It's not a bank.

@Dutch_Gradient

Facts 17.1 & 27.1: You meant "farther," not "further." Use farther for distance, further for ideas and concepts.

Why’d you include Jacksonville and Charlotte but not Atlanta when talking abt major cities in the eastern time zone on fact 25? Ik thats very specific but j it a lil weird

@Limpcringle

it's Daylight 'Saving' Time, not 'Savings'. You aren't putting daylight in the bank.

@glenbuxton8143

Why are you publishing lies that are so easy to refute? The USA hasn't lost any land due to sea level. The high tide marks at harbors across the Atlantic & Pacific that have been there for over 100 years have NOT changed.

I know people in Texas think everything is big there, bit they need to look at Australia. Our third smallest state, NSW, is larger than Texas and our largest cattle station, Anna Downs, is over 6 million acres.
