My parents let me keep a foundling cat. They didn’t bother to get her distemper shot so I got to watch her die of distemper. Any one person who doesn’t have this experience doesn’t mean the science was wrong.

Ok. If you study vaccines I will consider your opinion. But I'm not believing any of those evil ones that just killed millions with that "injection" for a pandemic that existed only on the news. I do wonder about parvo and distemper?

Euthanasia for convenience is a never, i consider it murder. Give your pet up instead honestly. It's like they are greedy that they either get the animal or nobody does. It has a life too

Your vet or doctor doesn't get zip for training on natural meds. My doctor was up front about it. Worked with me on it. Rare to find. My pets are holistic like my family. Zero chemicals, no vaccines. Cat 25, dog 17. Healthy family.

Answer this. Why do those in power of the U.S. permit you veterinarians to give every life-saving medication possible to animals dying from cancerous infections but won't permit the same treatments to be given to us humans?

A. Controlled killing of public citizens.

Best way, If you need to go to vet and think you know what you need, just act stupid. Over explaining all the symptoms to a T and if they agree and it is what it is ? You won , if they are SO far off , get a second opinion!

Veterinarian fees in 2026 are outrageous price-gouging. Fees should be charged on a sliding scale for what the pet-parent can actually afford. The wealthy generally don't mind paying a little more, if they are not heartless selfish sociopaths and can see the big picture.

Sheesh in my state of Delaware there has been a 300% rise in heartworm cases within the last 5 years. I absolutely have to keep mine on preventative but I wouldn’t if I lived in a place where it was very low. Utah Wyoming and Montana are among the lowest.

When all my Pets die , I’m not getting any more . Problem solved . You can’t trust anyone or what they are telling you . And it cost big money to keep taking them in to the Vet . Im over it 🙄

I dont understand why people think that elective death of a pet is bad? Its not inhumane. Its the owners choice. Is the vet going to adopt the animal and what about the animal being heartbroken fr missing their owner? Death can be the right choice.

My\nDaughter is no longer with me , but he lived to be 16 yrs i had him at a point where he had an abscess tooth and was swelled up on the side of his face. I didn't recognize it right away because I was so busy working. And when I went to pet him, I felt it, and it was quite big. So I was quite alarmed, took him to the vet. They put him on antibiotic and some medication, which made him lethargic, and he was not eating, he could barely walk, so I'd had enough, they wanted me to come back, they tried to discuss with me having him euthanized.. I was very reluctant to do that. I reached out to a friend that is homeopathic. For her children and they owned a pet store and I asked her what I should do so, she told me to try colloidal silver in his drinking water. So I did, I took him off the medication, the vet had him on I checked online the side effects, which were all not good and started administering the colloidal, in his drinking water within 24 hours, the swelling was completely gone. He was like a pup jumped off my bed, ran outside was happy's could be tail wagging you never would have known, he was not well. And I had to take him to the vet following Monday, because I wanted to discuss with me having him euthanize, so I marched in there with my dog put him on their examination table and the vet asked me what I had decided I said I think you need to examine him first to look on the doctors for the vet's face jaw-dropping that the swelling was completely gone and I said to him, he's not going anywhere but he's going home with me. I said I used natural remedy, I took him off the medication you put him on and he's perfectly fine. Sometimes you got to go with your gut and to what you think is best for your Animal and II trusted my friend and I'm thankful that I reached out to her cause.He got 4 more years of life after that

The problem is that you may not bring it up, but the vet sure will ask what vaccines have your dog had and what medication is your dog taking? Also, what are you feeding them?

No good ,dogs produce their own vitamin C so they do not need , fruits/ veg . They need whole grains, whole [milk cheese ] ,meats, poultry , . Dog food is horrible ,full of chemicals , by- products one out of two dogs gets cancer today . This is how dogs ate in biblical times there was no dog food before like the 70's in a bag or can and dogs before dog food lived into their 20's regularly . Grains are very important google it which the bible backs up See Matt 15 : 27 Niv bible . You can tell the health of a dog by it's coat, does it shine . They need the saturated fat in whole dairy which will keep them from shedding . Make sure whole milk is "room" temp 1st few times . Don't forget the spring water of course . Finally, many Vets know dog food is horrific as well as "vaccines' !!! , but they don't care because they make money on "sick" dogs See 1 Tim 6 : 10 [Niv] bible

So in other words you can’t be open with your vet without them taking offense some how. I think the owner should have a say in treatment if there are other options. Thats why we pay the high cost visits it should be a two way conversation. Not every pet is the same. What is good for one pet may not be for another. And the options should be discussed. And no one should be euthanizing they’re healthy pets.

@jB-ow5qi
@

I believe the pet owners that want to euthanize their dog or cat, or any pet that is healthy, should be the ones getting euthanized!

I love telling someone trained for eight years to give Science Diet, prednisone and course after course of antibiotics the real science of PROPER food for medicine and prevention of disease. You could say I enjoy it. If they don't like it, they can spend years researching diet and nutrition for health and longevity - then they can talk to me intelligently on my level.

@schnowtza
@

Ah well, Shame on me, I feed a raw diet. . I had to do something because every brand of kibble I tried for my dog gave her severe diarrhea. Having her fast and then giving her chicken and rice she could tolerate well until I tried to slowly introduce kibble again. So I do understand why vets are concerned about raw homemade diets. Deficiency is a very real concern. Beri beri and Scurvy were good examples of vitamin deficiencies. Pure meat has no iodine. There is so much to nutrition. So I've read and researched and questioned everything. I didn't have a nutritionist near me so I just had to read and put together what makes sense for an animal that is really a carnivore. Mentioning to my vet that I've had for over 20 years, and kept her as my vet because I trust her judgement didn't make her too happy. But it was obvious that my dog is healthy. Lean, sleek and active. She had to admit she was definitely healthy. The other thing I have to add is feeding this way is one, very very expensive . And 2, takes an incredible amount of time and effort. It's not for the faint of heart. So I gave up telling anybody. Because 99% of the people who insisted they wanted to do this for their dog, realized it was way too much. They think I am crazy. I think I am crazy. Sadly, my vet retired and I have a new upstart that is now covering for her. I am not mentioning at all how I feed.

@lindac5831

Took one of my dogs to the vet. Trouble catching her breath. Diagnosed pneumonia. Antibiotics. No results. After 2 weeks, I ended up with 4 dogs breathing trouble. Frantic calls to the vet. Zero response. Out of desperation, I tried MMS1. At any rate, it turns out my older little dogs had asthma, not pneumonia. Their breathing is starting to clear up with the CDS. We have extremely dry air (high desert), a woodstove, and lots of dust.

When I finally got in to see the vet (new puppy exam), I was informed by him that he never remembered to call people back (!), and what was Chlorine dioxide, he'd never heard of it, and proceeded to ignore anything else I had to say. I'm getting to where my opinion of my vet (privately owned clinic, I checked) is about the same as the rest of the medical profession, both human and animal. And you don't even want me to get started on that soapbox. I give my pups one jab of the Spectra 5, and that's it. My outside dog has had one rabies jab, and I don't know if I'm giving her another.

I speak respectfully to my vet, although gods know he doesn't deserve it.

Loved the little subtle hints... "but if you have the conventional vet (tugs on his own coat) with the white lab coat, you're probably better off just not bringing it up in the 1st place" 😂💕
*and omg, people have ask vets to euthanize a healthy pet?! 😢
**please people, if you are "there" in your thoughts, turn them over to a shelter, maybe they can be someone else's guardian angel. Pets live in the "now" they'll get over you even if they do miss you for awhile. If you have ever adopted someone else's pet, or picked one up from a shelter you will know that pets have an infinite capacity to love outside of "one" human.

Finally realistic honest vet advice. I LOVE you. You're speaking my language. ❤

@truthandlight-9
@

Problem....my vet is who brings up things, not me. They look at records & tell me Scout hasn't had this or that vaccine.. or when it's time to get more heartworm prevention. When I turn down a vaccine, I'm told if Scout gets something wrong w/ her, they will need to give ger the vaccine before treating her.
Yeah, the vets have become rigid about vaccinations .

@patwagner9308
@

What if your veterinarian asks a lot of personal questions about you? Work, relationship status, home location, personal history... Is that appropriate? Should I tell them my mental health diagnosis? Does that in any way impact my pet's health, and their job to care for my pet?

@brightphoebusuploads

Vaccine protocols come up at every visit especially if your cats or dogs are due. Rabies state mandated, is a given.
My 3 cats are in and outside every day as soon as the warmer weather hits here...so then I am encouraged to have them covered for heart worm, parasites etc etc...drawing titers are never mentioned.

@lindadarveau1031
@

That is terrible about euthanize healthy animals.
How do you recommend responding to your vet when they recommend vaccines or tests you don't feel are necessary?

@MTNLVR21
@

I work with pet but just as a pet groomer but I learned some animal care also but I still don't go around like I know everything because I don't, If one of my pets get sick I have said to my vet that I "think it maybe this..." and tell him the symptoms. But I would NEVER say "hey this is what's going on and this is what she has" NO. I can be wrong and that is totally disrespectful. I was also on the fence about a 100% raw diet. My vet also is not keen on it. One of the reasons is our pets are not wild animals. There system is not the same. But I know some people love it and say their pet is going good. I myself prefer to at least cook it a bit first. I love your videos.

I paid a vet $400.00+ dollars to tell me it wasn't cancer . They shaved the bump , (lump as big as a golf bal hard as one and coming off of something like a joint ) that's all . I waited a week for the results and all they told me it's not cancerous 😮😢
I don't know what to do I am building a colloidol silver generator will have it working tonight . But wow . I'm never going to take in another animal . Are we expect purchase pet insurance and have to feed our pets and our shelves from food pantries and to mortgage our homes and be homeless when you can't care for yourself to pay for end of life care . And you need bumps removed from yourself. I guess you have to have a lot more money than I have and I care for 4 grand kids and their everything not food stamps.
I thought it was good to take in some pets but I guess who can afford.
I appreciate this doctor I've done several of his suggestions I'm just so sad about my good beautiful Charlie cat to have such a horrible massive bump on her shoulder she doesn't deserve this and I took her when my mom died because the people who were cleaning out the house were going to just put her out side. And my mom had had her declawed . Now I'm the big bad a h who shouldn't have a pets 😢

But aren't you on the internet giving advice? So your advice not to say I have been given advice and an following this and trying something holistic sounds like you don't believe in the advice that you are dishing out.

@SkylerLane-y9x
@

If I see anything like that, I ask their opinion on it. Some are ok with that. Some are not. I have had some vets get upset if I asked for a second opinion or got them into a different vet because their clinic was booked. I have too many pets to put all my eggs in one basket

@lmgardner8175
@

Better yet, get another vet if they treat you like you know nothing. My vet listens to me and asks my opinion

@deltdawn2904
@

So we pretty much run the gauntlet of everything you mentioned.....lol we are human beings in an emotional and costly process.....I am convinced to day shelters are full because it's simply unaffordable and when your a senior yourself and entire class of people who want to right by their pets will not seek the care the pet needs over cost. I am struggling with it now. And yes we do go down all these avenues or neurotic pet parent behavior. there is nothing worse than the feeling of helplessness when your baby is sick and you are hesitating to seek care because of cost, the sign on the door that says, Pay in Full at the end of service, and the brochure on the Counter with e Credit Care flier (that's everywhere now, human or pet and which I have) offering a Credit Card with a 30% interest rate but you have no choice. So give the Pet Parent a break. Don't argue with your Vet over vaccinations as you say mine gets none, yet my Vet makes them pretty routinely must have and the list is 300 bucks easy. I even refused the Heartworm stuff because I am trying to not kill a liver with an elevated enzyme, when everything filters through the liver and his increased enzyme started 3-4 weeks after a 3 year rabies booster.
