@LouiseShreveI remember hearing a gun shot, then she fell. I felt it was a hating person, a coward who killed her and her Spirit that way; I kept expecting to hear the results of an autopsy... I was disappointed that it was never addressed. Her Dad and Mary did come to terms that she was growing up to be the independent thinker and doer that he expected.

@SvitlanaSlabunovaToo bad this young woman died so young. But it was probably for the best since she may have ended destroying herself as a stauch Women's Libber, which has brought so much destruction to marriage, child rearing & wholesome society. There certainly is nothing wrong for wanting people to be treated equally, like the American Blacks and other nationailities, but to be so headstrong, bold, and idealistic to insist that others should listen to us and agree with our ideologies is pretty presumptious and inconsiderate for one so young, esp. a woman, who had not even lived as an adult.
A very poor beginning for a young woman, esp. despising the idea of married life and motherhood -- the safest place for women, and the most noble calling of all, because it contributes so greatly to wholesomeness of family life (the backbone of society), if the mother is truly wise, godly, and loving.
i managed to watch 7 minutes of this vapid movie. poor horses. insipid selfish humans using and abusing horses and all nonhumans, then killing them when no longer able to be exploited. and i'm supposed to care about the misfortunes of the abusers? i think not. humans suck.

Did my eyes deceive me? Mary hit her head against the tree/branch and jumped off her horse. Then she fell off her feet to the ground.
