@formula1 will there ever be an inside story episode on this race win (similar to the amazing 2024 silverstone episode)?

If vsc hadn't been applied, Hamilton would't had won.

Why is this only the first half of the video? it only covers Hamilton, but on the site the video is 27 minutes and covers lots of other interesting events.
@jasonlea4259Iām so used to Ferrari losing on strategy.
@ericd_brRUSSELL'S results for the year, more so than Kimi's, show that Mercedes is vulnerable. Ferraris are slower this year but THEY FINISH.
@dogfacedboy6947F1 please drop inside story like you did when he won silverstone in 2024
@4teen10musicJust lucky, like through out of his entire career, Superrior car with Mecedes for years, won becose other cars mechanical failures, red flags luck, safety car, etc...., I will add two comments, here,
been watching F1 for 40 years,
There is difference between racing and driving for entertainment, and Lewis is entertainment driver, should join American oval racing,
on the second note, Yeh... he won, but, even blind chicken finds the grain some time,
Can we talk about the winggun at mercedes that was supposed to remove the downforce on Russels car, Instead, the team had it the wrong way round and added the angle on the wing.
@nlgbroskie9567That was a master class performance from ferrari
@MNCAS07The goat š is doing well with Ferrari
@isaacamedo5030Pace and strategy: Two things I thought i would never associate with Ferrari

@HyroBluMy brain hurts looking at these graphs.
@trumaannStrategy and experience made tge difference ššš
@bernieman4THE LAST DRIVER TO WIN IN A FERRAI IS LEWIS HAMILTON
@djblackprincecdnHamilton and Ferrari put themselves into a position to benefit from a VSC.
@brickspace9such a fun race! so stoked for Lewis, and can not wait for the first time George and Kimi do a double take out.
@Lou-Syd-Dreamer8It was hards put on at 1st stop?
@thomasdickinson9093Is that the most ridiculous podium youāve ever stood at? We can do better itās Formula One. Itās not British comedy.
@SAvery417FIA MAFIA
@danymatule741Hamilton is about to bump Sharl to seat #2... š - I feel kinda bad for Sharl now, cause he was supposed to be like Ferrari's Champion, and he is in a way, but now Lewis comes in, basically stealing his thunder, while he's also dealing with the car and the water. - And there was a chance Carlos would have, as they went pretty neck and neck at times just a few years ago, even if Ferrari wasn't all the way up front. - But that didn't happen and Lewis Hamilton is a whole other class. I would feel pretty down, even if it's nothing against Lewis obviously. I would be like "This fkn guy!", if it were Lewis, Max, Sebastian, Fernando, and so on. You're just in their shadow all of a sudden. - That's not to say Sharl isn't a star in his own right, but he, like George, was still climbing up there. - But that's racing, I suppose.
@michaelangeloh.5383I think the Ferraris with their PU deficit have worked a wonder on their chassis and aero. We should continue to see the SF26 continue to perform better as fuel burns off relative to the Mercs. If Ferrari is on pole, fugeddaboutit!
@YichaoLovesChickenCan't see the red
@borandiUKBrilliant content. Keep this coming.
@tristanwilliams8401I was completely fascinated by your analysis, even though I didn't understand a word of it. Well, then, something new to study.
@WendWordForthHey Jolyon, please tell me where is the Mónaco Race analysis?
@toshionakashima168Umm.....what?
@CedarPassEven Ferrari can get their strats right occasionally, like a broken clock.
@BlackMesa3221 win and brits are all over breaking down hogwarts syndrome lol... While Kimi winning every race did not get this treatment..
This is why I hate F1 journos .. they are so biased and gatelocked to brits.
Geroge- okay toto you can switch off the car now
@laughsandwich3842Lauda to Villeneuve helmet switch on wall at 5.00. I love it
@ecleticpassionsthey accidentally forgot to not touch Russells car In Monaco for 5 seconds as well
@purplewig-pi2stWhat other tracks the remainder of the year will a 3 stop vs 2 stop be a viable strategy for victory?
@therealBocaStudiosKimi should have gotten "Duracell" batteries! Are shareholders so Greedy they won't pay for enough energy so the drivers don't "run out"!
@lizzydog5728why is wolverine explaning formula 1 races to me?
@babyj7195Someone needs to let you know which camera to look at because you keep looking at the wrong one lol.
@DanBurrows-qh7xdMy question is around George Russellās first stint. He was in tyre saving mode and then made the early-ish pit stop. So he left rubber and time on the table. If heād gone hard out in the first stint ā or stayed out - what would have happened?
@pmor4272People seem to forget Lewis had 1hr less than Charles this weekend to dial the car in so he was on the backfoot for quali
@jonathantheori7541Russell should have let Kimi pass let the leader with better speed pass.
@patrickdeunhouwer59268:49 Everything would be different if Merc prioritized Kimi but that's not how they work.
@Raven.16-g4cMerc was more worried about Norris š
@Raven.16-g4cAbout the VSC at lap 40. By this time, Hamilton was 13 - 14 seconds ahead of the Mercedes.
We heard on the radio just before the VSC that Ferrari was going to pit Hamilton at around lap 46. Let's say he is only 10 seconds ahead. He pits and comes out 13 seconds behind. This means he has 19 laps on better tires to catch the Mercedes. Judging by the previous stint, we would expect Hamilton to close the gap at 1.6 seconds per lap. This means he would have caught and overtaken the 3 cars ahead on degrading tires.
The only other question is what if Norris also pits on lap 46. I believe he was trailing the Mercedes by about 3 seconds. He comes out 16 seconds behind Hamilton with Mercedes 26 seconds ahead, and the same 19 laps to catch and beat them for second place. That would have been some drive.
Why did Hamilton win? Pace, strategy, but mostly extreme luck as always...
@avada0How is George in a title fight with Kimi? Before the race, George was third 68 points behind Kimi and behind Lewis. Instead of keeping obviously slower 3rd in the championship car ahead, Mercedes should have used the team orders and swap positions. Probably Kimi still wouldnāt be able to overtake Lewis, but he also probably wouldnāt burn the engine and DNF. They know too well how much every single point counts⦠And just to make it clear, I root for Ferrari and Lewis, so ššš both titles are going to Maranello this season!
@zskeledzicAnd the VSC also helped for me Hamilton did a great job with the team all circumstances helped
@bakisan13579So Mercedes made a "mistake" and messed George up again...this is becoming quite interesting lolol
