mrs. doubtfire introduced me to this song. but i also think about my wedding to my late husband who said it would fit since i will be in a dress and makeup as a dude with long ginger coils. my uncles understood the joke some aunts were clutching pearls because they thought my late husband was a girl because abyss andrea sounds like it. he was named after andrea bocelli. then me a 6'8 giant in a viking wedding dress with a giant flower crown and bits and bobs in my hair came down the aisle to that song. my aunts left quickly because that is not the christian way. my late husband and i are both heathens. believer of the old norse. we married on friday the 13th of august 2021 in his families garden that was deep in the woods. we have it on video. he was dying by then he died shortly after the 1st anniversary. it was on his bucket list. we were 18 back then. he could barely stand and i carried him in my arms for most of the after party because his wheelchair was not great for moving around on grass. we got the police called on us for breaking quarantine rules. it was a gathering of 8 houses. we wore no masks outside but we seated houses on different tables and if they came close they wore surgeon masks because my husband was immuno compromised. gave them a few pastries in a box and 2 cups of hot coffee ( it was 8° celcius with strong winds outside) and wished them a safe way back after they had seen my husband in his wheelchair barely able to move. we did not get fined for breaking quarantine. we were after all following most protocols except the no more then 4 households rule. i danced in the rain with cousins when it started raining most guest stayed in the partyhouse. great memories are connected by a simple song.
