I mean, sports betting is in everything now, even ruined sports as a whole to an extent. So, at this point, why not let the players make some bets as well?

Y'all got what you wanted 🤷🏽

@goodlifejordy867
@

Absolutely pathetic ..of course he would suffer irrepressible harm , it’s called consequences for your actions ! Good ole local yokel judge just gonna completely over rule the NCAA on its policies and decisions..

@Mj-bg2uj
@

All the Qb has to do now is WIN !! AND ALL THIS GOES AWAY.

The filter on Pete's webcam is hilarious.

Buckeyes traded their own possessions for their own tattoos.

Just wait to see the response when Sorsby under or overthrows a receiver at a key point in a game.

@trade0714
@

Let’s be honest, newcomer to the Big 12 Cincinnati triggered all of this. They knew Sorsby had an issue & did nothing! Obviously they are unhappy the got burned by Sorsby. Tech did what any school would in the SEC, Big 10 or any league

I blame sports media groups , all of them , from podcasters to ESPN . Just look on the dest of this pod cast . Betting on sports and gambling is everywhere and condoned . Whats going to happen os gambling will eventually water down sports where its not worth following anymore . Every player should bet on there team and make millions . Sort of like insider trading . Any player should sue if they cant bet and they will .

@BillyEllis-y9o
@

There is not many different arguments. Gambling on your sport, games you are part of is the one line you do not cross.

@softshoes
@

Sorsby is going to get annihilated this year lol, and I cant wait to see it🎉🎉🎉

@alant9517
@

One has to think he placed many "illegal " bets also. Compulsive gamblers find action anywhere they can. Many his game film deserves some intense scrutiny. He’s shown he has no problem breaking the rules. Make a bad throw here and there helps cover the number.....

@BernardRepasky
@

listing gambling as a mental health case all the while gambling is going to continue to be pushed to no end by the teams, leagues, and especially the media networks.. lest we forget Pat's show was funded at first by a sportsbook

@bushrod324
@

Serial killers have a mental health condition, should we give them a pass if they confess and get treatment?

@showmemorefunthings9208
@

Indiana should be punished for playing him as well . Can"t have a double standard.

@danschmitt2266
@

Who cares it's all baugjt

@justiinmcnaughton3336
@

Im a die hard Sooner fan and I would be screaming for Brent Venables job if he backed his quarterback after that player was proven guilty on gambling. If his coach was an honest man and believe in what's right he needs to kick that player off the team.

@Charles1122-c4t
@

Go ahead college football allow this and I promise I'm done watching

@Stacy-e3o
@

So their going to say when hes allowed to play. That's cured from this addiction is bs

@Stacy-e3o
@

Yea if he's allowed to play im done watching college football they can have their WWE

@Stacy-e3o
@

Saying this kid was addicted and then letting him play because it could cause irreparable harm is like giving a drug addict heroin and saying, if we don't it will cause irreparable harm. Sports in general sold their souls and credibility when they got in bed with gambling and everyone could see this coming.

@ursirius4878
@

Can the NCAA appeal the injunction to a higher court?

@tomoberweiser
@

A Johnny Manziel but, with much nicer hair. Dude will flop bigger than a fish out of the water if the NFL drafts him. You can bet on it!

@Bad_Company666
@

Cheeseburgers? How dare you suspension... Betting on your own games... Here in Lubbock district court where sports gambling is illegal... All good... Don't look into the AG what he's said about this and what booster gave a lot of money to him...

@Howhaveyouben
@

ncaa must give tech the death penalty to regain credibility, only way forward

@jeremylwate
@

Either get rid of Sorsby or get rid of the NCAA

@frankcostley1531
@

Its almost like letting gambling and money into amateur sports was a bad idea

@willbeard4835
@

If he plays one college game I'm never watching college football again

@brianfalslev2479
@

That Texas Tech would welcome the gambler back to the team would also corrupt their team.
The coaches in the NFL would see him as toxic.

@tonymanero5544
@

I would grant TT a 1-year permission to retain an undrafted QB who has exhausted his eligibility and make Sorsby return any money he has received from TT. --from a TX Longhorn fan

@carolinepace5456
@

Just inline with the Trumpification of the United States where laws and rules don't matter.

@naveeny1
@

Don’t tell me this doesn’t reek of home town bias. The judge is based in Lubbock Texas. That is where Texas Tech is located. The court of appeals stated they will not hear this appeal until February 2027, well after the college football season ends. Oh, and as another whole ‘hoe town ruling’, out of the 4 judged on the court of appeals, 3 went to Texas Tech. Things that make you go hummmm.

@JoeB_II
@

Could the ncaa appeal and take it to federal court because it includes money and happened across different states? Why not set the kid for a season to help with his "recovery" and approach it next season TT? When college football shrinks and splits from the NCAA TT should be on the outside looking in.

@DarthBilldough
@

Texas tech slot machine at a casino near you!!!!!!

@782hrr
@

So if they decide to let him play and then the actual court case is rule he's ineligible to play then wouldnt they have to forfeit all the games that he played in because he ended up in the long run not being eligible

@Blazesita
@

Sports betting is bigger than any sportsball league. This is not a shocker at all. All sports is just entertainment to make money period. Integrity of sport left a long time ago. If you aren’t happy with the way things are going then stop giving them your time and money. But people love their circuses no matter what it costs.

@Patriot-dt3wk
@

This is terrible for college football and Sports as a whole.

@DKWooddesign
@

College sports is a disgusting joke. F whomever ok'ed this and Texas Tech for even welcoming this ADULT back into the fold. Change the channel. Majot college sports don't deserve the support right now.

@RDobbs-uv4xc
@

College football and collegiate sports in general have ZERO credability...

@darkdavey
@

Hell yeah let him play lol

@thegreatcorntrolio
@

Getting close to boycotting college football. This ruling is crap.

@bitwise2832
@

The NCAA can't ban him from playing but noone can tell them how they count wins and losses. The NCAA can just say if you play a player like this the stats and results of those games will not be counted in the NCAA record books and will simply be marked as a 0-0 loss for the players team. The NCAA doesn't have to make the decision then, the conference and team do.

@YoWhatGoesHere
@

"Addiction" lol what a joke.

@matthewkylelewis
@

I’m boycotting all college football and if enough people boycott these colleges will go bankrupt over night so do not enable these kids that think they’re so damn good

@charleslaurice
@

I bet he wont do it again.😂😂😂
