All Russian Regions Explained
Video Overview & Insights
To support the best channel about Russia:
Looking at the content you produce and the frequency and themes you discuss it is SO SO SO CLEAR that you were “welcomed” by the authorities and basically told what you cannot produce anymore 😃 (sad). Plus it it also clear seeing your views, who would end/finish producing work (interviews) which brought the most views before?
Cmon man get out of this country (if I can even name this thing like it)

You are charming but I can’t watch this video. It should consist of maps, video of the region and more maps. Then you can talk. Bout without greater views of the maps whatever you’re saying can’t be properly integrated. You’re cute and charming but …

@bu-nsДа ну нахуй, ты чуваш???
@СергейУшаков-ж9зI have always been ashamed of being russian but never like this...
@ЭнгельсинПолиграфовичI know there's a lot when it comes to culture in Russia and now more than ever we should try to understand it. But no: my distaste and animosity with the bald head, fat face and bloated belly of VP is too deep. He has taken ownership of Russia, it's culture and history. I stay away from it
@perttiheinikko3780That is a very quick summary, Daniil. Are you sure they can't arrest you for brevity? I mean, surely for internet videos they have a "failing to explain adequately a federal subject" law by now, right? Videos are still legal, aren't they? Providing you can get access to the internet as a federal citizen, I should say.
@bitegoatie1:50 I understand 😊
❤ kyrgyzstan Кыргызстан
Its so up north even raindeer will need gps as a russian 😂 i died of laughter
@Meskhi1944Video started so nice without background slop "music". But you couldn't help yourself, could you? Next...
@majus1334Love to see more content like this, very witty.
@bPermacultureThanks Danil. I suspect we are seeing the end of Russia being all these Territories, Oblasts, and Kry's. After the failure of the war, Russia is likley to fracture into a dozen or more autonomous regions controlled by local warlords. I suspect many Oligarchs are already building their private armies in preparation for the fall of Putins regime.
@brendanflynn2965Krasnodar Krai is indeed beautiful. It's a shame that I may never visit again.
@sundog486Bashkortostan has wrestling too. Koresh.
@YaleWang-c1wAre you Chuvash??
@YaleWang-c1wNot a word about Kaliningrads history? Germans lost it, but these are the spoils of war. It would be nice not to station your long range rockets there as a threat.
@praesodym6117I would like to visit, but as a german, I do not believe I am welcome.
@praesodym6117Broh... Simbirk (Ulyanovsk) isnt mordovia...
@LuytaMorDaniil starting off with the JAO so he can show off a rainbow flag, appreciate the gesture 🌈
@PermianExtinctionYou just dismissed a bunch of regions of Central Russia as 'identical — churches, ugly centers, fields ,' while spending separate time on places like Chita or Adygea. But here's why this is not simplification — it's just wrong.
For example Yaroslavl is not 'one of many.' It's the capital of Russia's Golden Ring, its historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage, and it was the de facto capital of Russia during the Time of Troubles. The region is one of the oldest in the country, e.g. Rostov Veliky founded in 862(!) was a medieval center of science and spirituality.
And you completely ignored entire unique destinations that would actually interest foreign tourists more than beaches in Sochi or factories in Sverdlovsk (the regions located really far for most of visitor of Russia):
- Yaroslavl Oblast: Rybinsk Reservoir — an enormous man-made sea, comparable in size to small European countries. Darwin Nature Reserve — a unique ecosystem found nowhere else on Earth.
- Kostroma Oblast: the Ipatiev Monastery — the place where Mikhail Romanov was crowned, marking the beginning of Russia's 300-year Romanov dynasty. Also the only Russian city with a fan-shaped Catherine-era layout.
- Vladimir Oblast: the White Monuments of Vladimir and Suzdal — a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Assumption Cathedral with frescoes by Andrei Rublev, the Golden Gate, and the Church of the Intercession on the Nerl — masterpieces of ancient Russian architecture.
Calling these regions 'identical' is like saying Florence, Venice and Milan are the same because they all have old cathedrals. The difference is: your foreign audience can reach Yaroslavl, Kostroma or Ivanovo in 3–4 hours from Moscow by high-speed train and see how your video lies. No 8-hour flights, no logistical nightmares like with Yekaterinburg or Chita. And what they'll see is living Russian history — not tasteless concrete and glass, not factory smokestacks, not the complete absence of infrastructure like in many regions took attention in your video.
You clearly didn't do your homework. Next time, spend your time checking the UNESCO list, ead a couple of books or at least view some videos ion YouTube from local bloggers before dismissing the cradle of Russian statehood as 'fields and churches.'
watched this TWO times. I learned more about Russia than 16+ years in school. In United States, we only know one thing: Russia is enemy.
@umtomcatWell, that improved my knowledge of Ruzzia by about 2000%. Still don't know much, but thanks for helping. Keep up the good work.
@thenefyncat6970Спасибо Данило 👍

@gosmart7846Russia is really large. So much land!!! There was no need to go and try to steal Ukraine by force! All that money spent on war should have been spent on developing the large area, Russia!
