I noticed that Pennzoil doesn't say it is made from natural oil any longer. Now it says Made With Natural Gas. Do you know if the formula has changed? Could you test it again?

But for the price i pay 100 bucks for amsoil vs 50 bucks for pennzoil ultra platinum 20k mile which is a no brainer for me and more people that care about pricing for a super good product

@BoEkingsterLove the informative content..I do feel as though you should just put a new wheel on for the friction test, whoever (whichever oil) goes second after you've sanded the wheel is going to get a rougher contact than the one before sanding it
@jayknight7238The electricity test you’re using is called a one arm bandit. The only way that you can do that test correctly is the change all the parts that come in contact with the oil and zone uses that same test to trick people into purchasing it.
@pepperwatson7784Valvoline came out with Restore and Protect, then Mobil responded with their Advanced Clean. Can you do a test on the 2?

@elventanasYou need to compare Amsoil signature series directly against Redline. I can’t find any videos on YouTube that does that. Are they afraid to directly compare the two. Why are there no direct comparisons? Not even your channel has done that. I find that odd to say the least!

@MickeyFreddyThemotoroilgeek did very in depth chemistry analysis on the oils after being run in a dyno. The penz platinum did well and so did amsoil but in his test. Driven ls30 a more high performance oil for people who change oil sooner. Also the liquimoly did a lot better in his dynos test. He tested the amount of medal particles in oil. Oil engine off test where oil breaks down while sitting hot.. it's a great read.
@briansmith3134Amsoil is very good and so is pen platinum. The only thing I don't like about pen is oil temps are very high. I like a oil that cools the motor.

@connorrampage7817Just a thought, test your motor oils, the top three synthetic against the top three aircraft synthetic motor oils, which by far are more expensive. My theory comes from Amsoil originally having been created as an aircraft motor oil, and it made it into the main stream of automotive motor oils.
Top aircraft motor oils are dominated by AeroShell and Phillips 66 for piston engines, and Mobil for turbines. Top choices include AeroShell W100Plus or 15W-50 for performance, Phillips 66 X/C 20W-50 for rust protection, and Mobil Jet Oil 387 , vastly different pricing

@charleyb4424Would be curious to see a comparison of Amsoil and RelaDyne DuraMAX. From what I’ve researched it’s commonly used in quick lube locations. A good comparison on whether or not you’re much better off changing your own oil or providing your own to your local shop.
