Gauff is such a good mover! But Sabalenka did make some tactical mistakes IMO. Gauff's FH is her achilles heel and sometimes those balls off her FH unintentionally land very short in the court. Instead of whacking that short ball to Gauff's FH again, Sabalenka often tries to dropshot her - only to get passed.

Can't stand sabalenko's overly loud, unnecesary screams... One has to turn the sound off otherwise it is a torture to one's sanity.

Why are those louds karate-style screams even allowed in tennis?!

A genuine question. Is there any benefit to grunting and screaming on every point. It feels like it takes a lot of energy and effort to do so. So, to preserve more energy, it would better not to. But i guess maybe it gives some players a 'power boost'.

In a way, Gauff is very similar to Arantxa Sanchez Vicario (apart from being taller and having a much better first serve). She has, like Arantxa, a very good backhand, technical issues on her forehand, speed, tenacity and fighting spirit. She makes the hard hitters who, on a good day can hit her off the court, doubt themselves and make errors. This French Open run of Coco reminds me of Arantxa's 1998 French Open. She beat Serena Williams, Lindsay Davenport and Monica Seles. And Chris Evert (who is also commentating here) said that "she won because her opponents made a lot of errors". Well guess why?!

if coco even just had like 20 percent more power shed be unbeatable. She is a far better athlete than sablenka, super fast, amazing defence and a much smarter player. Sabalenka if she can't over power her opponent she runs out of ideas pretty quickly.

Every time I watch Sablenka play against Gauff, it always ends up in an easy win for Coco, and Sablenka in tears

I think those in charge at the mixing table for the videos didn't like Sabalenka , because right after the win of Coco they did not give us any shot of Aryna for the next 10 minutes . Propably she was hiding behind a towel and we were not allowed to see this.
