Atomic Bomb Test

Video Overview & Insights

The Atomic Cannon, at 280 mm, was the largest nuclear capable mobile artillery piece manufactured by the United States. On May 25, 1953, a 280 mm cannon fired an atomic projectile a distance of 7 miles at the Nevada Test Site. Twenty 280 mm cannons were manufactured. None were used in battle. (Sound effects Added.)

Que bueno que hoy en día está todo calmado😅🇦🇷👌🏻

To record video and photography during nuclear tests like the Grable bomb, engineers used a combination of physical armor, optical tricks, and specialized chemical treatments to protect the equipment and film from intense heat, shockwaves, and ionizing radiation.1. Heavy Shielding and ArmorCameras were not simply placed in the open; they were housed in massive steel boxes with thick lead shielding, often weighing up to 350 pounds.Lead Protection: This prevented gamma radiation from "fogging" the film (a process that turns unexposed film dark and unusable).Concrete Anchoring: For cameras positioned close to the blast (as close as 1.4 km), the boxes were mounted on steel poles anchored in deep concrete to prevent them from being swept away by the shockwave.2. Optical Mirrors and Zoom LensesTo capture close-up views without placing the hardware in the "kill zone," engineers used two main tactics:Periscope/Mirror Systems: Some cameras were placed inside armored bunkers or underground pits and pointed upward toward a mirror. The mirror would reflect the blast into the camera lens. While the shockwave would eventually destroy the mirror, the camera would have already captured the crucial first seconds of the detonation.Telephoto Lenses: High-powered zoom lenses allowed cameras to stay several miles away while appearing to be right next to the explosion.3. Radiation-Treated FilmStandard film was extremely sensitive to radiation; even being shipped in recycled paper contaminated with fallout from other tests was enough to ruin it. For Grable and other tests:Specialized Coatings: Technicians used specially treated film designed to be less sensitive to radiation damage.High-Speed Recording: Cameras like those developed by the MIT-founded company EG&G could record millions of frames per second, allowing scientists to see the blast’s progression in extreme slow motion before the dust and fallout obscured the view.4. Remote Control and Hardened WiringSince the fallout made the area uninhabitable for humans, the cameras were operated remotely. The wiring and circuitry for these systems were often embedded in concrete to prevent the electromagnetic pulse (EMP) or the physical blast from cutting the signal. The clear footage you see today is the result of thousands of cameras being used simultaneously, with the understanding that many would be destroyed, and only the best "survivors" would provide the final data.Would you like to know more about how modern cameras are designed to work inside nuclear reactors today

No one possesses nuclear weapons except Pakistan, which has a documented experience that turned the mountain into a furnace, or the rest, like Russia, America and China. Their videos are all fabricated. Open Hemmer made two bombs and died, and the nuclear secret died with him, and Pakistan is the one who solved the nuclear mystery.
