A mate in Cairns recently linked me into the Aussie music scene of those daze . Suze IS impressive . Great 'pipes' and soft on the eyes for 'stage presence' I was involved in the music BIZ back then in Vancouver . Recording Sound Engineer . My only encounter with Aussie 'Music Artists' was with one of your jewels in Olivia NJ . And what a pleasure that was was to work with her . My involvement was with the orchestrals backing (Vancouver City Orchestra Ensemble) on her song 'MAGIC' . And Wow , was that session was ; bloody Magic . That mix made the XANADU soundtrack which kinda impressed me as I was a lad of only 26 years of age when that was recorded . Prolly the best highlight of that old career . RIP Olivia . But his Girlie , WOW . What they could have done to the Canadian music scene back in those daze . Game changer . Cheers Mates

I mean, I always knew that she rocked because… well, look at her. She’s rockin’ some serious rock’n’roll poses; she’s giving the camera some seriously smouldering stares.



But I only recently discovered that she dated Gavin Rossdale – in the late 80s, when she was living in the UK, so don’t panic Gwen, it was long before you came along, you were still just a girl – and who wrote “Comedown” about their break up. Which begs the question: does Gavin have wall to wall mirrors in his bathroom, so he can see himself dressing with his back turned? You know what… I bet he does.



Supplementary question: Did he love Gwen cos she’s a challenge? Did he love Gwen cos she’s a CHALLENGE?



In a few years she’d marry Extreme's Nuno Bettencourt.

Baby Animals is my all-time favourite Hard Rock band. Suze has one of the most powerful voices in Rock.

Amazing! I came of age in the mid-90's Recovery/JJJ days so saw this stuff as yesterday's lame 80's type rock. Now I love listening to all these old Aussie bands. Their music remains fresh/timeless/classic. On the contrary, all those distortion-drenched Recovery bands I grew up on are very trapped in the 90's. It takes a healthy dose of alcohol, nostalgia & your 2 best high school mates to motivate spinning them again.
