It was a muggy day, but the gorillas seemed full of energy.
The baby gorilla, Santaro, in particular, was walking around on his own.
That was cute 💞
His mother, Genki, was playing with him and walking around with him on her back.
Momotaro and Kintaro seemed to be in great spirits.

@pattiwhite9575Oh Momotaro, are you not the Silverback? Take back control of your Troop. Rest where you want to rest and play with your baby when you want to play with him. Play with him just like you did Kintaro. Santaro desperately wants to play and see his dad. He is getting too big and curious to lay around all day while Genki eats and sleeps. Genki will NOT play with him. She has never played with her other kids. So why not allow him to go and play. She is a@@ backwards. She will allow Kintaro to come up close and touch him but not his dad. Kintaro is the one she should watch out for. He loves to play and can be a little rough. I recall Gentaro dragging him around the enclosure by his leg many times. You can bet that Kintaro will do the same. Gorillas also hoot when they are calling their Troop. I wonder if Momotaro was hooting for Santaro. 9:19

She definitely seems to be keeping it raised as she's walking, I hope she hasn't gotten injured battling Kintaro or Santaro, both who bite her whenever she stops their misbehaving ❤❤
I dont understand why Momotaro can't be around baby, it's his baby too. I watch other gorillas and l see babys at 5 months running around and playing with their father. Yes the mother is around, but they don't stop baby from running and playing like Genki does. So what's the issue here? Momotaro wanted to touch baby and genki stopped it.
