It's a good thing the U.K. went to war in Afghanistan. O.K., so we spent £32.8 billion and got hundreds of men killed, but hey, it was small price to pay for fixing the terrible situation over there. It's totally lovely there now. As usual War fixed it, just like it always does.
God bless our wise rulers and completely politicians who ordered this miracle.

My dad was stationed at Bagram for 6 months. Since he was Air Force, he just did his normal job but in Afghanistan. 6 months of my life, I could only see my dad on Skype. In the end, it was all meaningless, nothing was accomplished. I’m lucky my dad came home but so many weren’t as lucky.
