Beast of Reincarnation Review

It's weird finding an IGN video where I actually agree but here we are lol

Game Freak ended up with the biggest franchise in the world and didn't spend a single penny in getting better at developing games.
I wonder where all that money is going to.

This game looks better than any nintendo switch game

So, is this a true 6 or an IGN 6?

This is the exact definition of a “wait until Black Friday when it’s $20” kind of game

The game is pretty great..the gameplay loop is very fun and the story very interesting. Also the combat rocks and the World is comf as fk

Well guys....IGN gave Hellpoint 6/10 as well and I love the game even though its so flawed but still platinum this game and have 150 hours on it....don let someone tell you what you like and not like.

This was such hot garbage I'm bummed.

well its dsapointing, i hoped this game would be better. i was happy gamefreak did something other than pokemon, and this game looked really cool. still i will try to play it if i have time. maybe they can improve it and realize all its potential in a sequel

Big shame, clearly had a lot of potential.

Every review I have seen so far is like

I’m not sure what worse…game freak making a mid video game that’s no pokemon or the fact that there were 6 ads while I was trying to watch your review.

All new games these days are crap, without exception.

I hate that hack and slash and soulslike are a pairing now. I hate defense and parry based gameplay

Its so sad that you follow a game for years get exicited about it and in the end it flops so saad for this one

it seems a patch on the ai would fix this game and adding some more attack variations

You can tell by the wanky review that the game is actually better than it sounds.

Calling something “shallow” and not elaborating as to why is a perfect of example of trying to sound like you have something to say, when you obviously don’t.

They gave it a 6

You had me at " sekiro meets FF7"

This is okay. Let Game Freak learn from this. This is their first attempt at a modern game like this. Look at the Final Fantasy 7 ReTrilogy team or Capcom team, they’ve had a decade working together and building and learning. From things like RE6 or FF13 came modern RE games and FF7 ReTrilogy.

I was rooting for gamefreak as its nice to see them branch out but its not surprising, as it is quite rare for anybody to be good at something new to them on the 1st time

Yo sinceramente viendo vídeos.. no le veo un juego que tú me digas.. que sea destacante a los tantos que hay del mismo estilo..

Y que sepa, este es como su segundo juego que no es de Pokémon y el primero fue un desastre que yo sepa y este segundo lo veo mediocre..

Tantas veces escuchando que Pokémon les estaba cortando las alas y los tratos que recibían de ellos y que no les daban ni tiempo.

Creía que este era como su oportunidad para demostrar esta vez.. iban a demostrar que ellos no tienen la culpa de qué Pokémon está cómo está.. y que ellos con cualquier otra cosa pueden hacer cosas mucho mejores.. y no es el caso me da mi entender.

Y luego si encima.. si comparamos qué juegos buenos qué no son creados por ellos o son creados con colaboración con otros. Cómo pokopia y los mundos misteriosos u otros.. creo que dice un poco de quién retrasa a quién..

Asian title so as per usual bellow 7 from IGN, in my books thats a must play.

I used to play these ign reviews and without hearing a word I just jump into the end and see the number then exit the video but now after they started putting it on the thumbnail I’ve actually became interested in hearing what they say.

Him being absolutely flabberghasted and puzzeld by v,c,v,c,bridge, c is amazing to me hahah

Hopefully this was just a big game jam for gamefreak so they can bust out these visuals for Pokémon.

To be honest, I think a lot of the criticism in this review could also be applied to NieR: Automata. Especially the part about spending the entire game fighting robots that look like potatoes, only for the truly satisfying ending to be locked behind multiple New Game+ playthroughs. That said, I'm not defending Beast of Reincarnation it's a much more recent game, after all. I just think the praise NieR: Automata receives is sometimes a bit exaggerated.

Gamefreak is just a bad, aging game dev company

Are you guys desnse? First you change your iconic avatar, then start putting the scores in thumbnail titles (the resason 90% click through to the video) - Are you trying to torpedo your legacy? These are just the most recent missteps in a very sad self-inflicted downfall

I'm glad GameFreak found the time to let 1 of their employees make Pokemon Legends ZA

The game was outsourced by game freak to a studio that just ripped off Stellarblade. Korea and Japan don’t F with each other so I’m sure they DGAF
