This young woman crossed a very, very dark line. Most people would either walk away or call for help. You cannot do something so grotesque and ever be trusted around children, again.
She chose this route, shes not a mother with severe mental health problems (not that I think thats right), but all she needed to do was hand him to a trusted person, anything was better than this. I don't get it🤷🤷🤷xxx

I did a lot of babysitting in my late teens, apparently I was responsible big kid. However, I stayed away from very young infants, because I felt very uncomfortable around such fragile souls.
I would not get into a relationship, at 18, with a parent of such young children. I'm sure theres plenty of 18yr olds who are capable of loving and responsible step parenting, but even the tiniest doubt you have, I would stay away.
The worst thing I ever did, was play a face painting game with my 4yr old charges, only to discover the pens were permanent. Luckily my mum knew lemon juice and water would remove the whiskers and flowers we had been drawing on our faces, plus apologizing profusely to their mum and dad. Oh, baby oil can work as well🤦🤦🤦 xxx

Cases like this have unfortunately taught me that I’m never getting into a relationship with someone until my son is out of the house and is at zero risk of being harmed by my dating life. To me, Being a 100% present parent is more important than finding someone who has the ability to harm my child. He’s nearly 3 and I’m never putting a man before him even when he’s an adult, if someone is eve just an asshole to my son at ANY point of his life that man will lose his tongue.

Edit: not blaming the dad, but when your baby is so young, you can’t just let anyone you’ve known for such a little time and expect that person to be trusted, especially when it’s a woman, just because it’s a woman, doesn’t mean she’s going to treat your child nicely. Being a parent means the things you want to do while young gets put on pause, you don’t get both at least u til your kids are old enough, dating while being a single parent literally means your attention is not 100% on your child. My heart breaks for the father no matter what.

When you mentioned having a sibling moment when they fall out of bed, I had to laugh! My brother was jumping on the bed and he fell off, and I instantly started laughing but my dad came sprinting up the stairs. He assessed the situation and got so mad at me because I didn’t check if my brother was okay before I started laughing. I learned my lesson that day but also, give me grace, I was 11/12 and definitely didn’t see the seriousness of it! 😂😂 He was 100% fine, just shocked more than anything. I did tell him to stay away from the edge, he didn’t want to listen and thought it was funny, so he had to learn.🤷 We both learned a lesson that day 😂

Ehh judge those that are giving Fritos and Mountain Dew to a 18 month old no matter what meal it’s served as…. I cringe thinking about givinf my 15 month old juicy juice.
