castle and lucifer are two shows built on strange relationships almost same story famous guy gets to consult with police lapd and nypd both are super rich one is lucifer one is a writer , one owns a nightclub one is a best selling novelist and both their intros are awesome like --- lucifer is driving 68 corvette and castle kills off derrick storm . both beckett and decker lost their mother and father in a deep political conspiracy !!! and both get to marry their civilian consultant and both had awesome audiences and amazing artists

so sad that in Season 7 (and 8) it came out that Castle and Beckett were not getting along in real life... and it clearly showed in the Show... it was such a sad moment.

I tell the different seasons by Beckett's hairstyle. Short to bob/spikey is S1. Longer but almost mullet style is S2. Straighter shoulder length brunette is S3, Curly, blonde highlights longer than shoulder lenghet is S4, Blonde highlights, extra volume almost waist length is S5, S6, S7. Season 8 does not exist and I don't care what her hairstyle is in that nonexistent season.

I love this show so much, but Beckett is the worst, most annoying character ever!

Every episode is a 'mini movie' that could be shown in a theater. What makes this series so great is EVERYTHING; the writing, lighting, directing, sounds, cameras, clothes, etc. Not being an actor, I can only imagine all the behind the scenes people coming together each time. There's a definite rhythm that happens right from the start to the very end. For me each actor brings their own character to life. Each has a distinct personality, written for them and given life by each individual character, which together becomes this insanely scary, hilarious and sad symphony. It's as if the writers were tasked to hit each one of everyone's emotions every episode. To me it seems as if every actor puts their ego aside for the greater good. Thank you to all who made this series and to Lifetime for rerunning it.

stumbled upon Castle by accident as it started replaying the series now on Lifetime. What a crazy good ride this is. Mine started somewhere in the middle til the end and I was so hooked by the stories and actors that I was sad to see it end, only to see they restarted at the beginning. I googled to learn a bit more about the actors but found that the fantasy of their portrayal would be soured by the realities of the personalities, some who I read did not get along. Since it's fiction I prefer to live in the fantasy that these great writers and actors portray rather than to know the truth. Great series and although a bit late a HUGE THX to all who made this possible. Cheers and best wishes to all
