I love how open Julie is about racial issues . In her conversation with David and Melissa and she’s willing to admit that she don’t know much . But she’s willing to learn . I commend her for that

So if she was brought up in a rural midwest farming city where whites made up like 95% of the population...maybe i get it. What Matt says doesn't even make sense because you can have love in a heterosexual relationship with literally an inability to have children. So if sexuality is only to produce children then you might as well tell married couples who can't that they can't have sex. Oh wait, but he did say love is still a reason, too, right? Love is love. Love between all sorts of people exists. Sex is about pleasure and connection and love. Sexuality is about what brings you the most joy. Whoever decided to make sex a sin must have not been having any. Matt needs to really use some critical thinking and realize life is about trying to be happy and figuring out what things are meant to distract you from that, even the bible.

Like everyone hates Julie, and don't get me wrong she is ignorant, but she has owned it and is genuine In asking questions to grow. I wish more Karen's tried like Julie.

I have many gay friends I am so proud of them and they are very young and very happy with them selfs.

Watching the Homecoming series has opened my eyes on how some white women grow up to be Karens or develop a level of Karensity that is scary.
I thought Becky on the New York was pretty lame for leaving the loft than listen to the viewpoint of others but Julie in the New Orleans show makes that look like nothing by comparison. She's burned bridges with Melissa, Danny, and now Tokyo (David).

god rewatching these i feel so bad for the black people of the cast it sucks now having to teach your white friends about how not to offend but it was 100 times worse then so many things i miss from this time but not the racism

I was too young to join the real world and was too old to join the bad girls club lol. Black men having their "Preference" now & of course being Biracial and or "Not Black Enough" is still relevant
