I laughed a bit at tip 1. Ive played disc golf for 20 years, just started playing golf. From someone who's used to playing in the woods, with fairways that play maybe 10 maybe 15 feet between two trees, seeing that look off the tee box has me way lower stressed. Room for days, just blast it out there

When drawing the club impact line in the trading bunker, should it be perpendicular or at an angle to match the angle of the leading edge of the slightly opened club head? I ask as I consistently slice/shank the ball from the sand.

Rick I’m new, with my 3 driver and hybrid I’m okay, but my driver I cannot get any lift. I’ve got the tee at my front foot (right foot as I’m left handed) and best carry I’ve had so far was around 85 yards.

Why did I wait 40 years🤦🏻😂?
I have played golf for over 30 years and still can't break 90. Using my driver at 5'6" is even more difficult as the best I can drive is about 175 yards (yes, driver was custom fit for my height). So now I focus on my 3 and 5 woods for driving as I can hit them straighter. But hey, I keep trying and still love the game. Maybe one day I will break 90, but having fun will keep me focused on doing better.

@jerryMohr-ut8brAt 7.45 in this vid talking about using a 7 or 8 iron and gripping down etc...solve this by putting a chipper in your bag..no need for a expensive branded one and they are dirt cheap and a total life saver around the greens

@0_BLT3 requirements for a good golfer: Have a good attitude, realize you aren't going pro, and practice. You only need 2 of those to have fun!

@boomboom231Nice job Rick! It has to be tough enough to play in a qualifier, but the added pressure of being a YouTube golfer. Not what you wanted but a lot of good golf during that round.
@JT-xs4brThanks Rick! My short game has suffered as my long game has improved (typical for me). These tips bring me back to some basics so I can improve my short game, take a few strokes off of my scorecard and see my handicap dip back down…hopefully 😂.

@Palaniuk13Rick… your forgot . Gotta Flatload your feet, so you can snap load your power package, that you can amplify your lag and drag pressure through fix, as long as your number 2 power accumulator doesn’t break down.

I'm a fan of yours and put many of your tips to good use.i went from 84 to mid 70's with your help..I've been struggling with driver speed and yesterday I spent all day on the course experimenting with shaft stiffness and weight and with the help of my rapsodo I was able to gain 3.5 mph with a lighter stiff shaft I settled for a tensia 55 gram stiff over a smoke 60 gram stiff much more workable .I played a full round with it today and I wasn't in trouble one time..thank you for all you do
I've found Rick's tips are the easiest to understand and put into practice.

@deldavies9110I dunno if you will read this or not , but i did watch a lot of your video but this one… Rick im not kidding , i went from playing high 90 to almost broke 80 … its absolutely insane…3 birdies on the first 6 holes… on one of the hardest golf courses in my area, finished with a 81…! I am flabbergasted seriously… 😳

I’d be interested in what you thoughts were of the STOW STICK golf accessory…. It sure has made a difference in my putting movements…. The resistance band also helped out in keeping my hands out of my game… “Thank You” for your for your well explained video..
