The talk of the privileged being delegated to the role of mobilizing their resources as opposed to spear heading the fight reminds me of indigenous discourse with "allies", were they encourage allies to help in ways that aren't intrusive to the cause/movement or become obstacles themselves. Ex. leaving the virtue signalling, being speaking voices for indigenous folks, representing them in the trash and utilizing resources and privilege that they have so that indigenous people can leverage such resources and strengthen there platform to address problems that they are experiencing first hand.

I moved to Trenton from a suburb in northern central jersey and I look around and can’t understand how the city seems like it’s intentionally stifled. It could be so much more there is so much culture and history here and yet the city’s importance seems forgotten. The depiction of the preacher as another agent of delusion for the system in "They Cloned Tyrone" is a fitting satirical take on the role of the Black Church. You have on numerous accounts in your videos given the Black Church its due props and criticism but you fail to take the truly Black radical step of calling out the Black Church for what it truly is: the single greatest obstruction to Black people globally. Christian theology does nothing but restrict Black people to a white-centric metaphysics, ontology, and epistemology which results in an anti-Black politics.

One of the biggest dividers of people is the stereotyping of others that leads to further stereotyping from the recipients out of a defensive sentiment creating a cartoonish prejudice between the different environments in society which fractures our interactions making them more superficial and hostile

As simplistic as it may sound the best way to break these barriers is to just see someone as a human being you don't know anything about and be open to listening to them. You'll get some people that say wild things intentionally or not, but if you can get past the prejudices and ingrained stereotyping you can connect on an unfiltered human level, and this is where our true nature comes out and overwhelmingly if you are talking to someone without some hidden agendas they will come to the same understanding that all anyone really wants is to be able to live a good life and be a part of a community that takes care of all those that are a part of it

Haha, I feel ya on the 2 christmas think. It’s only now, 30 years after my parents originally got divorced and all my grandparents are gone that we have finally gone back to just one. Thank god!! I’m finally starting to process some trauma. And I totally agree that the more hard things you go though the more depth you tend to have. And the more empathic you become.
