Another con about being on the toes is your easier to knock off balance. There's less stability.

Canelo as flat footed as they come
@surgej007wouldnt it make sense to train both. if you do outside fight using being on your toes and inside fights using flat feet? asking because i am a karateka+muay thai striker but always add pure boxing in my training
@williamqpnguyen4110I think it always depends on the style of the individual fighter and how quick he can move despite how his feet are standing
@andiXD1990I think you should master both. On toes for speed and footwork and flat por power and knockout power and short range.
@ustanakjavo1247Im definitely going to be using this, thanks tony
@XL_X-MasI’m both flat and toes!!! I plant flat to throw hard toes to move and get in the inside and dance around!!!! Flat foot when I’m about to land them hits.
@franklinmera9898Vine por Instagram 😂
@ISMASAMPDROIDThanks for the video.
PS. Poor Bob! 😂
I'm surprised. The spoken language is in Thai; amazing.
@sportmuaythaiv1045I’ve got very good at blocking almost every punch I get hit but not with clean shots and I decide to move my head if I think I need to ,my head movement is pretty good when I actually use it but as I was saying I have decent stamina but not the best so I started boxing flat footed and it saves so many energy but I think both should be used in my opinion

@jordanm6084When your flat footed you may have balance, power, stability, more energy convenient, but in boxing its not always about power but if you only have power but your slow its sooo bad, boxing is sooooo fast you could get hit more you can get countered and any boxer can just go to the side and deliver a liver blow have power and speed reaction and get hit less you get more power just naturally by the balance being flat footed you can have both by working on your power, speed will always be improved speed vs power is stupid its best to train for both while having power at the same time a boxer that has both of these qualities are way more dangerous
@Starcraft-m9lI didn't understand, is it better to be on toes or flat footed..?🤣 In fact, is it ok to be on toes while moving and flat footed when punching??
@user-cq1yu4wj9jTony ❤

@Bboy_JYwhere can i buy one of those t- shirts ?
@johnlally5296Hey tony jeffriers I am boxer. I doesn't generate power in my punches in ring and doesn't get gravitational force in my punches I don't know Why because of less experience in ring shoes or confidence please reply @tony_jeffries
@pigigamer6189I'm your fan from Thailand. I want you to make Thai subs in every clip.

The videos are interesting.
Not so much the "do your research" sponsors and sales of the Great Dr Jones' snake oil against aging.
On the toes just feels natural to me. It seems that im able to manuever much easier.
@mahdman3Hey Tony, what are your thoughts on R-Handed Southpaws and L-Handed Orthodox fighters?
I know there’s been a couple successful fighters over the years implement this style but I know when it comes to boxing it is generally the complete opposite of what would be taught.
A Pro and Con video like this would be great in the topic!
Any thoughts on Rocky Marciano Tony?

@charliedirk007I am 37 turning 38 soon. I want to get some practice in on boxing as a pretty cool thing to have around my belt and it's good to learn. Or fighting in general. I have fast hands. But am not sure on power of hands. I have no experience and am as curious as another would be. I am a dude that is on toes.
@xxwallzxx4509Hands down the best Boxing channel on YouTube! Much love Tony! I learn a lot from your videos ❤

@tharkappuulagam450VERY INFORMATIVE VIDEO THANK YOU
@YURAGE_OPAs a boxing coach i greatly appreciate your content and breakdowns. I have my fighters follow you as well Champ..cheers from Canada 🥊🥊
@johnnykay8541I recommend training the same way fights/sparrings go- when you're fresh do on toes, when you get tired do flat footed training. Obviously be flat footed on the inside, if you have a ring in your gym then get yourself cornered and punch away at the pads to simulate what would happen in a ring
@miqvPLI always start bouncing on toes flying around and at the end of the sparring i walk flatfoot and heavy like tired hippo cause i am dead tired.Haha.
