Season Four - Episode Seven: "Problem Dog"
Walt places Skyler in a difficult spot with their new operation. And as Walt looks to protect himself against Gus, Jesse agrees to a dangerous proposition.
00:00 Intro
You know, one aspect I've always loved about the "problem dog confession", which I noticed after watching Chicanery, is that it is perfectly set up like a court scene. The counsellor is the judge, the other people there are the jury, the woman is the prosecutor (un)knowingly coaxing a statement out of him, then using it against him in order to persuade the judge and jury, the Yak dude acting as his defence, and finally Jesse is his own executioner. Also it touches on one of my biggest gripes with the whole "therapy talk" crowd, which is the "No matter how many dogs I kill, I'll just do an inventory and accept?" in a non-preachy way that perfectly fits the character! In a subtle way it perfectly captures the feeling of judgment so many people are afraid of when they join groups like this. What happens if I just air out all my inner demons? Which keeps them from saying how they truly feel.
Also smaller side note about the Skyler "I didn't WaNt any of this" scene... Bitch, respectfully... Walter hasn't succeeded in keeping YOU away from HIS business with a fifteen goddamn foot pole since 3rd season! I get what she means and I really do feel for her... but it is such a comically "wife moment" scene. Wife begs and demands for MONTHS to be included in hubby's side business/hobby -> Spends all of 5 minutes in said side biz/hobby -> Immediately starts bitching about how hard it is, and claims she "wanted NO part in this"!
00:13 RAGE
00:58 Perfect Condition
01:26 Misdemeanor Trash Burning
02:29 Working Magic
03:36 He'll Do It
04:05 Mo Money Mo Problems
0:45 i like to imagine jesse is just moving his hand and emulating the recoil himself
05:25 The Cigarette
05:54 Diet Coke
i mean, arcade light guns do have recoil, since the slide moves, so since it's already a fictional thing, might as well have it for the home version even tho like the psx or nintendo one or w/e didn't irl
06:44 A Big Meeting
08:00 Loyalty
one of the greatest monologues of all time
08:13 Problem Dog
10:05 Update?
At 24-28 sec you can hear the time of the Siemens oven.
10:13 Hank's Investigation
12:41 Shout Outs & More
0:49 I don't think it actually has recoil, I think Jesse is basically "practicing" to shoot Gale so his hand moves like the light gun was a real gun
Correction
01:28 I had to mute the music here! The sound will improve shortly.
Breaking Bad is a drama television series created & produced by Vince Gilligan for AMC. Set & filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the series follows Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a high-school chemistry teacher who is struggling with a recent diagnosis of stage-three lung cancer. White turns to a life of crime & partners with a former student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), to secure his family's financial future before he dies, while navigating the dangers of the criminal underworld.
Among the stars are Anna Gunn & RJ Mitte as Skyler & Walter Jr., & Betsy Brandt & Dean Norris as Marie Schrader & husband Hank, a DEA agent. Others include Bob Odenkirk as Walter's & Jesse's lawyer Saul Goodman, Jonathan Banks as private investigator & fixer Mike Ehrmantraut, & Giancarlo Esposito as Gus Fring. The final season introduces Jesse Plemons as the criminally ambitious Todd Alquist, & Laura Fraser as Lydia Rodarte-Quayle.
The show received numerous awards, including 16 Primetime Emmy Awards, eight Satellite Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two Peabody Awards, two Critics' Choice Awards, & four Television Critics Association Awards. Cranston won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series four times, while Aaron Paul won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series three times; Anna Gunn won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series twice. In 2013, Breaking Bad entered the Guinness World Records as the most critically acclaimed TV show of all time.
The series gave rise to Better Call Saul, a prequel featuring Odenkirk, Banks, & Esposito reprising their Breaking Bad roles. A sequel film, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, starring Paul was released on Netflix & in theaters.
Something I noticed - the Group Leader, played by Jere Burns has no beard, just a mustache in this episode likely due to the fact that he was also filming as the villain Anson Fullerton in season 5 of the USA show ‘Burn Notice,’ he also seems to be wearing almost the same glasses.
Also features Raymond Cruz as Tuco Salamanca, Mark Margolis as Hector Salamanca, Lavell Crawford as Huell Babineaux, & Steven Michael Quezada as Steven Gomez.

2:48 some occult societies use a thing called a "hand of glory". Might (might - I don't know anything besides the name) give some interesting insight into Jimmy.

dodge is just really based so, makes sense.
@Jack_DPthe order of the day is face down, ass up 😏
@galleryofroguesThe 2009 and 2010 Dodge RT challenger had 370-376 horsepower. 470 seemed like too much
@chrislewis5069those edit woosh noises are so loud dude. Makes my Bluetooth kitchen speaker fart like fuck.
@Scotty_Russell_MusicThe Problem Dog scene where Colleen is grilling Jesse over the dead dog is an homage the The Sopranos episode where Chris is given an intervention, did you miss that?
@Blvntddhttps://youtu.be/KVEtLpJmw8g?si=5CRDchNjiEhY3vdO The expenses are Saul's fees
@KevinWesley-h8p"You're nothing to me but customers" the way he said customers was really an awkward pronounciation
@chrislewis5069At 12:25 they show a shot of the telescope for Gus's fingerprints. In S3E13, Face Off, the only time we see Gus at Gale's apartment, Gus does not touch the telescope. Gus refuses to be offered a drink, which could be seen as politeness, but also doubles as not leaving fingerprints. Gus only places a hand on Gale's knee in encouragement.
@MXL2107_1Love how skylar suddenly started running the show. she suddenly is ok with drug dealing
@chrislewis5069Gomie turning his head is the funniest thing ever
@miniwarchief318013:09 — Jerry’s Fat Nuts! 😂
@JamesGowan8:12 The group leader played Wynn Duffy the fixer on Justified.
@jbtechcon74344:05 Marie's kleptomania broke the 4th wall and infected the actress!
@AlknixThe Game Gun having recoil I think is a reflex.
I do it when I play VR shooters and I never shot a gun before.
The $375000 of expenses are Saul's cut of 5% as established in Season 3.
@abhainnxvI got an ad about minerals with someone calling them rocks in this video🤣🤣🤣🤣
@NoahDoetSchreeuwenIt totally didn’t bother me the first time but now on my 2nd watch through fuck do I get all the people complaining about the film artifact counter 😂
@PlebEthan145The actor who played the NA meeting counselor did such a phenomenal job. Even the way he crossed his legs seemed so true to life.
@jamikatechaos9972Love how the group is fine with junkies and killing kids but KILLING DOGS?? 😅😅
@KaladinVegapunkI was shocked they didn't anticipate a car wash couldn't launder the scale of his income haha, though don't have to do it all at once, and can still make cash purchases without anyone knowing
@KaladinVegapunkRage sucked, I played it because of the show haha, I pirated it and still didn't finish it 😂
Bootleg borderlands
I had no idea that Rage was a real game, I could have sworn it was just something they did for the show.
@zephyfoxy0:45 some light guns actually do have simulated recoil! the one jesse is holding looks like a generic one, but i recently got some Beretta licensed light guns for my original xbox that come with a blowback feature you can toggle on or off. it's very loud, though, so i usually have it switched off.
also, it used to upset me that he was playing a light gun game on a modern tv, but i recently learned of xbox 360/playstation 3 "light guns" that have you mount a sensor to your tv, much like the wii
Now I gotta play Rage.
@seangriffin5524This channel needs it’s own Emmy nomination! lol
@seangriffin55241:50
The Albuquerque DEA Google Maps reviews are a fun read, if anyone is interested.
who fucking cares about the film artifacts?! Great vid.
@khjgfxdhzfMe when I have to shoot the dog because I'm bored
@confusingmedia60576:05 He’s describing the SRT8 model, not the RT. In the first scene where you see the car it’s an SRT8 Challenger but when they are doing the stunts and destroying it it’s a V6 base model Challenger.
@hein2288:37 I brought up this exact same thing to my wife while we were watching and we laughed about it for hours, more-so about how fast he interjects, as if he was excitedly curious
@yodogama2:50 the hand could be an obscure reference to the Sam & Max games, where Jesse James' severed hand is a recurring prop
@TheRedMeerkat1the opening to this episode is my least favorite scene in all of BB
