As a plumber, and I think I can speak for most of doing new construction.... THANK YOU for your nail placement concern! I can't count how many $50 drill bit's I've destroyed because some amigo decided to place a nail in a stud right where I need to run my vent! Not to mention hitting one with a hole hog and a 3" bit can F*CK you up if you aren't expecting it.

@Youn6JWhats the purpose of putting the plate boards all around the exterior just to remove them after the walls are up? Seems like a waste of time from an outsider with zero carpentry experience.. no offense, genuinely curious.
