The WNBA leadership should look at the way way the WTA handled this. Regarding the gambling, Paige being dumb enough to go along to get along with her black "Sistas" in the WNBA reminds me of Joe Jackson in 1919. He clearly didn't understand what he was getting into, since he didn't help his teammates lose; he played well in the World Series. Yet he was still banned from baseball for life, and this scandal set the precedent for MLB judgement on Pete Rose.

Any and all future games these two teams play, fans should absolutely boycott those games - this will hurt every team each and every time they face each other - the fans can no longer trust any of the games these two teams play to be honest wins or losses - the law should step in and issue a legal consequence

The congress involvement is most likely brought forth my the media partners. They invested a lot of money into a league that only had one real draw, CC. If she gets injured to the point where she can't play, the media partners will not see the return on their investment, at least until the next renegotiation where they can cut their funding.

Unfortunately, you’re talking about a league that has never turned a profit, but still decided to give everyone a raise this year. Like, 5x what they made before. They gave Clark a tech for getting punched in the throat. They value diversity over performance.
Did we really expect something to be done about this, if it were anyone other than CC or Sophie? Come on, get it together.
On top of everything else, you can’t help but wonder if Reese, with her embarrassing, historically bad performances, and “lack of basic fundamentals” is trying to influence betting lines and cover spreads. Has to be a serious conversation now, like it or not.
