The Albatross is a 7-minute short film, created by Joel Best, Alex Jeremy, and Alex Karonis in their final year of study at the University of Technology, Sydney.
After a successful festival circuit screening at festivals including the prestigious AACTA Awards (AFI Awards Australia), Sydney Film Festival and Animafest Zagreb, The Albatross is ready to make it"s internet debut.
After 6 YEARS LATER AT 14 I FINALLY UNDERSTOOD THIS MEANING

At the time I first watched this short film, I used to go to the bars with my cousin and drink we’d both drink till we were drunk. And when I was at home watching this short, I heard those two words the glass man said, just like my cousin. That made me evaluate a life I was living for too long. This evaluation was a culmination of previous revelations that I should change my life. I’m glad I did. And this short opened my eyes to it.
