@amandaherrer Hello, I have a question, I applied to Costco and they gave me a job but only for the season, my question is what possibility do I have to hire me or what can I do? At the moment I have a job that is from Monday to Friday, good benefits, it is a Chinese company. I love the current job because only I work but it is frustrating because they do not appreciate the employee. I have been there for 2 years. but now I have to make a decision because I have always wanted to work at Costco, please give some advice Thank you

I'm surprised it was so easy and fast for you to get hired. I've applied several times and never got a call back. I had to contact them and then had to make an appointment for an interview then I had to call them back again to see if I could get a second interview. Then I had to take a drug test and I have to wait for them to get the results.

No so much anymore since minimum wage is now what? at least $15 an hour. Ugh.

A full time cashier with ten years will make $60,000 including their mandatory bonus checks, and receive four weeks vacation and ten personal days.

At my location I am 6th on the seniority list with only thirty three years. There’s over sixty employees with at least 25 years.

We wouldn’t stick around if conditions were not very good.

Is your costco membership free as an employee?

Costco pays well however they don’t keep most of their employees longer than 6 months. They find whatever reason to let them go,at least here in my city.

Costco hopes to entice customers with amped-up membership perk: Costco ran off most of their poor and middle class customers in my community in Exchange for catering to commercial restaurants and businesses. I left as a private citizen they were not catering to me anymore in my community and I was not willing to drive the distance to just shop so……now they want us back and they are offering perks as a retired person who spends much less because i have everything seriously everything so now I am not interested.

Today’s my last day as a Costco employee. I started with $16 an hour and. $26 on Sundays. Loved the company but my manager was wayyyy to manipulative and it was SCARY. Couldn’t do it.
