Got to warn you!!!! Button mushrooms are great to cook with and most Americans are not allergic...but if you haven't been brought up or ever tried Shitaki mushrooms then watch out! I picked up a sample of shitaki in a small cup and brought it up to my mouth and 2 inches from my face and went into anaphillactic shock!!! My eyes shut tight, my throat swoll, my lips swoll up and could hardly breath! Squinting and running to the pharmacy I bought Benedrill and took two of the pills with water. That scared everyone but I survived! They wanted to call 911 but I started to feel better after 20 minutes! So watch out what you eat and know what you are eating along with the ingredients! Stay safe! Love your channel!

Going to a restaurant with that many people is really not bad at all. I have 15 people in my family, and every time we go to a steakhouse it’s never under $1,500, That’s without tip!
And I k ow it’s that every time, because we always fight over the bill, so now I just leave from the table before we even order and act like I’m going to the bathroom or something and tell the waiters I’m paying the bill and not to accept any payment from anyone else . Lol
We all usually hit a nice steakhouse about twice a month, minimum once a month.

Great video. I've been wanting to try doing sous vide. I love that you are a little lit at the end of the video, after a good dinner and some beverages.

I use a sous vide as well but sear after
@lindadesmarchais777Tomahawk steak with spider web and dirt seasoning looks tasty 👍🏼
@juiceplanet147Way too fatty meat. I prefer fillet which has far more flavour. All that salt is not healthy as well.
@christianburch479I enjoy the vids and cook however you want. 👍
@SheLuvzDannyYour friend grant is laughing and rolling
@raulroman5732thats fried steak

@grantlam9247What happened to the sides
@Alex0992What was the price of the tomahawk?
@michelehott1056Brutal
@ngprosperOver cooked
@rayray5195Why would there be ANY reason to cook in plastic?
@w.steinbarth1857Too. Much. Work.
It's not this complicated to get a great steak, not even close. But if you want to put on a show and have a long story to tell about your dinner, ok, maybe. But I'd rather talk about other things and have cocktails, not talking about the 200 steps I took to prepare a steak.
Awesome.
@kirk-tc8dyWell the first thing NOT to do is buy Costco steaks. They are all blade tenderized which is something you never do to good steaks as it ruins them. It introduces bacteria and other contaminants leading to potential illness.
@DarylDeShawHappy that I am not invited to this steak dinner.
@davetoorks4041awesome video, Bro! I love it. The methods are perfect and a tomahawk is my favorite and Adam is exactly how I would would do it. I’ll try the soups vide soon. I love it that way with pork chops
@terrysimons2306Seared, Sous vide and then reverse sear = Slightly over cooked. womp womp.
@thejetshowliveNo way I'm buying them wagyu
@workingtheory26why would you want to cook a steak in plastic? not very health wise eating plastic particles, its bad enough the plastic they wrap in while cold at the store, this dude sure knows how to ruin some really nice steaks, but actually costco already ruined them with there blade tenderizing technique that requires u to over cook them for health safety reasons it says right on the packaging they must reach internal temp of 145 because they poked needles all the way through them as a tenderizing technique
@kirklee66You did nothing. Come on man. Cook and eat.
@ReedRyan79Costco choice here where im at is as good as prime
@xThat1dudeNever use zip lock bags to sous vide. they are not made for heat. you will be leching all kinds of micro plastic on your food. Use bags that are made for sous vide instead.
Also when you Sous vide you don't need to rest the steak,.
I’ve never found the Prime tomahawks at our Costco, only the choice. Great find.
@BradscashWhat a convoluted way to cook a steak. And after all the work, it comes out overdone without the uniformity you use a sous vide cooker for. So many mistakes it's hard to know where to begin. Searing before sous vide? Ridiculous. Cooking in a broiler, on a charcoal grill, and in a sous vide machine? I don't get it, and I have mastered making a good steal from Costco. Simply sear each side and then cook indirectly until the temperature reaches 128. Oh, and put the seasoning on before searing. In this example he throws in some seasoning, garlic and butter into one corner of the bag before sous videing it.
@philbaker2036way too much salt!
@YO3A007All of us Senior citizens on a fixed income go to Costco and take pictures of the Steaks then we go home and pretend we are eating them. we can't afford steaks sorry.!
@twobucketHe's forgetting (or doesn't know) that, yes, salting does draw out moisture INTIALLY. But then after sitting for 30 to 60 minutes, the salt will dissolve into a liquid brine that then gets reabsorbed into the meat, which makes it more tender and juicy.
@krga94cCostco mechanically tenderizes most of their steaks (even the prime) which is just stupid. But this makes it hazardous to cook rare to med-rare (only way to make it IMHO)... I avoid Costco for steaks for this reason...
@keithjazGOOD VIDEO!
@masterchiefmasterchieflopezMy cholesterol increase after watching this video. my way is sear for a few minutes hot pan each side, until a dark crust forms and then right into the broiler.
@samquinn6427Bro, next time while sucking the air out of the bag, use a plastic straw, close the bag and tuck the straw towards the side corner squeezing the bag, then start sucking the air out, pull the straw, and pinch the bag
@felixsavella4435Definitely season the steaks while drying surface in fridge. 10000%
@FourEyedTigerhow can there be leftover steak with 14 people? if we had 6 people and that much steak, it would be ALL gone....so, maybe not as good as he made i tou to be,
@dr.p1661Great entertainment by a equally good personality. You should have your own cooking show on HGTV. The setup at home with the sort of grills a regular man uses. The soaking the steak in a warm water contraption was a little over the top for me. keep it up -
@johnb2541exceptionally mediocre
@TK-MLoisAre the cobwebs a secret ingredient? LOL
