14:00 very small and not powerful telescope for a professional astronomer. It’s laughable.

Nathan was a half way beliveable character, as for the other two, no depth, no substance.

I think there should have been a hot yet evil female intern who seduces the kid and steals the data and reports back to the evil scientist who is also her pimp. And I believe the evil scientist/pimp should have been dressed like a pimp with the hat, a gem encrusted cane and a goblet plus a gold grill.

@17:33, any astronomer, even an amateur, knows that they aren't lenses, but they're "eyepieces" . Besides that, this "scientist" is using a mere 4" Newtonian reflector. A decent 8" light bucket can be had for less than $800.

Dialogue and acting need a ton of work

Excellent film, it pulled me in from the start and I felt I was there, observing as every scene was presented.

responsible in choosing out leaders? there are no people worthy to lead - if we ourselves do not lead ourselves - we are lost - we as a people have killed just in this nation 62 million babies since 1973 - how many of them were leaders? we don't have a clue what we have done with all our choosing leaders who do as they please once in positions of power - how sad - and they dole out their bits of guidance - buy gold buy silver buy bit coin - vote for these people and they will save the day - but you see it is all just part of the plan - the blueprints for our freedoms destruction - and if there aliens what would they have in common with us? why would they bother when there is nothing to fix us externally and internally we cannot even find our own souls and live by that wisdom and instead we spend all our time between our ears - and we are quite lost and ego is too busy imitating god to accept the fact that our minds are the cause of all our suffering and we are not going to think our way out of this prison we have made. Good Movie with a good message even if a bit naive - if we knew there was an island and everyone on that island had a deadly virus would we want to go there? seriously many of you are very human and yet like me we don't even want to be here ourselves - and we can understand why and alien would just drive on by.

I love this short sci fi movie. Kept me engaged throught the storyline. Hated the character Nathan, the little rat, a pathetic excuse of a man who almost destroyed the hard work and findings of the old scientist. Good for him that he grew a conscience before it was too late.😄 People like him do exist in the real world. They look harmless and innocent but could bring about absolute chaos in the lives of the ones close to them. 😂 Got to be very careful . 😄
I think very soon we will have sightings/interactions of/with alien life in our planet and our govt will acknowledge them as well, unlike what they have been doing so far until now. We will surely be exposed to extraterrestrials from outer space/dimension(like in the movie Prometheus) or maybe aliens beings who reside in the vast oceans who are far more advanced than us humans.(like in the movie 🎥 Aquaman)😅 But it is to be seen if they happen to be peaceful or violent beings.(like in the movie Mars Attacks)
Good luck to us mere humans who are so busy fighting amongst ourselves for petty reasons. The chances of us stepping into the next level of evolution is extremely low. We have enough ammunition to entirely wipe out our own civilization multiple times.

The story was too silly, I loled when the giga chad "atronomer" took his gun out and aimed at at the old guy like in an old 50s movie. You know, back then actors had no choice but to "aim" guns that way because it was forbidden to depict real aiming of a gun in movies, you don't need to do it now over 60 years after that rule was removed 😂

This film is so well done! Great cinematography, story, script, and actors; excellent and believable all the way around. The climax was surprising and unexpected, but the final message literally took my breath away for a single reason: It's the absolute truth.
