I have moved too far from any Costco for it to be worth while to pay the annual membership fee. This feels like such a trap, I would advise everyone to be cautious about opening any credit card attached to any club membership. If I don't want the negative ding to my credit for closing my Costco account, I am forced to pay a minimum of $60 a year for a credit card I do not need or want any more. I only applied for it because the points I could accumulate for getting gas was enough to offset the membership fee annually.

I recommend the AAA Daily Advantage Visa Signature, because you earn 3% cash back at whole sale clubs instead of 2%. Your earn 5% at grocery stores instead of 1%. No annual fees and can redeem cash back anytime online. You do not need to be a AAA member to apply for this card. Hands down this is the best NO annual fees credit cards out there. 2nd best credit card is the Citi Custom Cash, which I use only at Gas Stations earning 5% back.
Additional benefits like no annual fee with a Costco membership and no foreign transaction fees.
