I found that Costco employees replace expired perishables repacked with extended expiration dates (recycling). If after they recycled and still not sold, they are processed to be ready to cook or ready to eat shelves.

Can anyone please tell me what the + sign on the price tags mean? I only see them on selected products from time to time. I have asked the employees at the warehouse, but they don't seem to know. Thank you.

Is S & R a Costco in other countries? Can you use Costco membership to enter S/R stores? I don"t buy a regular priced item at Costco, until they give dollar off discount. I don't like they ask for donation for various charity at the checkout, I feel intimidated.

The first line is incorrect. The liquor/membership laws are different state by state. In MOST states, you must have a Membership in order to purchase liquor. I don't know of any warehouses in any states that sell beer or wine without a membership.
I wish people would stop promoting the incorrect info, it causes employees to look like the bad guys.

I love the return policy. We’ve never had any problems with returning defective or unsatisfactory products. I’m equally glad that Costco tracks and bans abusers of the system. For example, I bought a 3 lb bag of coffee that was terrible. It was a combination of burnt tires and the sludge that builds up in roof gutters. It wasn’t even suitable for cold brew. I only used a few ounces before returning it. I’m always blown away when I see people return food items that have been 80-90% consumed! How dishonest is that!?

The “secret shoppers” are hilarious. I used to work at Nordstrom where we had undercover Loss Prevention workers who did the same thing. They always had headphones on and dressed like thugs 😂

I stopped regular shopping at Costco because of the “treasure hunt” behavior. I got so frustrated by not being able to find what I wanted quickly. Now I order only two things and get gas at Costco. Everything else I get from a regular grocery store because I can get in and out quickly. The store doesn’t move items randomly to different locations.

Shoplifter s they have you on camera they also have people and managers looking at customers and staff at checkout one day I saw 5 people looking at checkout,the free samples
Are not paid for by Costco it's paid by supplier
With covid I would not take sample now
Like any food shopping eat before you go you will buy less
