It's funny that he says if he gets pulled over elling like weed he'll be in trouble again, but good news for Harris County (which is this judges district and the defendant) smell is no longer probable cause to search or ask for identification at a stop. They have to visibly see it in some form to search them.

True story, I was in court with my second an third felony charges. I was on year two of probation for those charges and got called to court because I violated my terms and didnt do my 200 hours of community service. I actually did do them and the public works bureau I did them at failed to report the hours. I went in with a note saying I did complete them. I was the only one dressed up nice for court and everyone else had graphics tshirts and jeans. The judge thanked me for doing what I was supposed to do and also because I respected the court with what I wore. He dismissed the rest of my probation that day I I go off years early. I’ll forever be thankful for the idiots that wore street clothes and made me look good. (This is all almost twenty years ago and Ive been living a normal crime free life since then)

This might be the only time I've disagreed with this judge. Weed is LEGAL. It was the only jacket he had available. Would you rather him show up in a muscle tee? Cause you'd criticize him for that too
