Day 17: Why is the US Deploying a Marine Expeditionary Unit Amid War on Iran?
Video Overview & Insights
- The US is sending a US Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) including the USS Tripoli with 2,500 Marines, F-35 warplanes, V-22 Osprey, and transport helicopters;
two months later that is exactly what happen. Reading future is easy if factual informations are available
- Out of 2,500 Marines, only 1,200 are part of a ground combat element, the rest are spread across air combat elements, command, logistics, and other supporting roles;
- The MEU could participate in the seizure of Kharg Island and other critical facilities, board and seize ships, sink ships, augment US regional airpower with its F-35 warplanes, or augment US regional missile forces with its compliment of HIMARS and ATACMS/PrSM munitions;
Incorrect, the US HAS to win NOW. Simply because of the exponential trend of de-dollarisation and highly parasited state of its economy. Go back into Iran to finally "finish the coup" 10 years from now, the same 10 years it needed to take Iraq or Syria, and for Iran it will NOT be 10 years, it will be too late by then. China has already surpassed the US and Russia is on its way. The huge bubble that is the US empire will burst in a fast dialectic down spiral of the economy and military. The crash of the "gun-dollar"
The economy that will take out every nation coupled to the US, especially those that are heavy on the service sector, leaving Russia, China and big parts of the productive 3rd world stronger.
The military will continue to suffer defeats and every peripheral nation that has chosen the US side will have to rethink its allegiance or be the losers of this WW3. The bursting in military terms is called overextending I believe, and the US, opposite to its claims of reinforcing within America to come back to the wiser Monroe doctrine, chooses again to double down on the whole world.
And the more the US inflates this all by doubling down with wars like this one the worst the burst will be.
6:02 No, the US war of aggression is going damage in Iran by attacking IRGC/government/spiritual leaders and their girls at school as well as less important military hardware and decoys. The damage to the world economy is being inflicted BY IRAN against the US who depends on the world economy.
40:17 No, that's not just "something to keep in mind". That's a more specific and falsifiable prediction you are making to sustain your absurd "US in control" theory. So then when a 100 days have passed, please show the evidence that China is suffering from this war so much that it starts to cave in to US demands for one instance, or pressure its ally into opening the straight. My prediction is it won't, because the US empire is suffering from this far more than China and China is happy to see this economy under pressure if it means accelerating the transition from petro-(dollar→yuan).
48:33 Conceding that this is the US' last chance doesn't buy you enough credibility. Because it's NOT the last chance, it WAS. It's already over. They needed to control the oil completely, just sabotaging the oil for everyone including themselves is beyond desperation now. It's not just losing the poker game it's trying to run away with the chips after that, as if they're worth anything themselves... it's pathetic insanity.
- The MEU poses a threat to the shipping of energy to China Iran is reportedly allowing through the Strait of Hormuz specifically because of its anti-shipping capabilities created under the Biden administration specifically for war with China;

I can be pretty hard to impress, but Brian does that. His ethos is good and genuine, he's smart, competent and credible, and all in all genuine and coming from a good place. I have been thinking Russia is the main target, and still suspect it, but Brian is convincing me that reducing resources to China is one purpose of this sordid tapestry. Hope to see/find more from him about Russia, and perhaps an idea of the military/endgame might be with China. I can see we're all grateful for his work.

What can be done? Going on the street? Most people don't believe it anyway. How to convince people in a short time? The politicians in Europe don't dare to say a word against USA.. Only Pedro Sanchez.. Who can force USA to stop now, the UN....

The ultra-rich in the West are the ones clinging to empire. The vast majority of We the People who are middle-class, working class or poor have much to gain from the US adapting to the new multi-nodal geopolitical order. Economic justice in the US is key to the US being able to economically compete with and diplomatically engage the rest of the world ( instead of causing WWIII which the US would be very likely to lose.) If it goes nuclear, who wins?

This is a suicide mission. Neither the Ospreys nor the F35s are reliable aircraft. I pity the Marines, and hope they have the sense to mutiny on the grounds that their war is illegal. Alas, the chances are they're the modern equivalent of McNamara's morons. Remember, too, Iran's purchase of 28 Russian --top of the range--Mig attack helicopters.

Great job like always 👍
More User Perspectives
I don't understand how do you not see that it's a near suicide for the U.S to even attempt to take the Island. It would be a bloodbath for them. Also, why would Iran not destroy every energy infrastructure in the region if the U.S seize the Island?? This is a catastrophic outcome for everyone including the U.S.
@09mubarakThank you very much for this explanation of what an MEU consist of. That info is very useful for understanding their potential deployment and mission.
@Metacomet1678Thanks Brian for sharing your perspective with us. I must say that your perspective differs from most of the other pundits in that you referred to policy papers which outlined decades ago, the very things that are taking place today. Based on the way the Americans are going about the conflict, it would appear as if the real target is China, and they are fighting Iran because they know it would far more difficult to conquer China in its own backyard.
@MrDavidablakeyet Agin BB - ace !!
@edmundvanroosendaelPeak Oil
Peak oil happened in 2018 and we are now on a bumpy plateau.
Royal Dutch Shell predicted that peak oil would lead to chaos, anarchy and war.
Finally, I'm listening to a detailed and concrete analysis, not empty chatter. Thank you, Brajan!
@dlyakykolReminds me of the classic line from Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid “Never bring a knife to a gun fight!” Please please don’t do this! From a former Royal Marine Commando.
@stuartburling9788ดีใจมากไงคะ ที่แปลเป็นภาษา เยอรมันด้วย❤❤❤❤
@sucuk_illuminati7206Bro it’s a very good analysis but.. that dang rooster 🐓 in the background is killing the whole impact. Can’t you get sound proofing done?
@UsmanKhan-ty4bgYikes. Now I know why taking over Canada makes sense. Control Canada's oil, gas, and resources so we can't sell them to China. I wonder if Carney is in on the plan. He's doing his best to create huge divides in the Canadian public. We're fighting each other like your Republicans and Democrats. As well almost all of our politicians from all parties support the war in Ukraine, Iran, and the genocide in Gaza. We are even getting a new law that will criminalize "hate" speech where anyone talking in support of Gaza or against any war of aggression supported by our government, or anything else for that matter, means fines and jail time. I guess it is not going to end well for Canadian citizens.
@FlyingScot911A blessing for these and this endevor!
@twistedbuilderso we now have the US Marine-Piracy Corp ..... Queen Elizabeth the First was a shareholder in piracy raids ..... so will we see shares in the US Marine-Piracy Corp listed on the NY stock exchange ?
@GaryKennedy-g7pChina & Russia are not our enemies, I think we all know who the real aggressor is.
@ClivesChroniclesThank you for calling this event the US war in Iran. The media, as usual with US wars in Asia, reports it as "the Iran War". Eventually, Americans are reduced to saying things like "Vietnam was a mess", when what they mean is the US war in Vietnam was a mess. Has anyone asked Victoria Nuland what she thinks about the US war in Ukraine?
@rilmehakonen9688The Duran sent me here to sapacarib
@rumirum6274Wasn't it a US petroleum embargo against Japan that led to Pearl Harbor?
@TheTeach56May Iranian missiles finish what diplomacy couldn't: the elimination of the war criminal Netanyahu and his terrorist regime. It is time Israel and D.C. feel the same flattening destruction they’ve unleashed on Gaza. Let the world's premier terrorists finally pay for their blood-soaked, defective 'WMD' diplomacy.
@oakleytrue2414The 2nd possible scenário makes more sense. Regarding the contínuos satelite scanner of US anfibius by China.
Top analysis of Brian🙌🏽
The Globalist's built the China we see today.
@mikeflynn4373It's all about the Epstein files
@aronkormout9014It's always useful to listen to you Brian. However I have one point to make. This is a war fought by US ignorance against 2 Countries with brains.
@jennybleasdale1815Very convincing scenario and a step forward compared to those you just "explain" the stupidity of pol. actors. We will see how China reacts and if Russia focuses only on Ukraine or steps in as well.
@user-Raven60Brian I hear your roosters crowing . Beautiful situation seeing and hearing them plus the chickens and eggs .
@VictorTolandBrian is focusing on the larger
geopolitical strategy of the US in containing and even destroying China economically or militarily...
So that it can maintain its prime hegemonic position in the World....
Even if it means destroying and sowing chaos to the rest of the World.
The US is the epitome of a evil declining empire who is willing to drag the World down with it....
Absolutely Disgusting and Frightening 💥🔥
❤🎉
@Robin-i7u4eAny attempt to "take over" Kharg Island will be disastrous and result in needless loss of life. Trump, and the zio-cons influencing him, want the "optics' of a US force taking control of some territory. It's a show -and good men will die for it.
@FLtreasureIran is not using ships and the NATO mafia knows that Iran will destroy all gulf state oil facilities if Kharg Island is destroyed. This means more than a year of reconstruction waiting to be bombed again while the world energy supply to the west grinds to a holt.
@davidcanatella4279Could be a Bagram II type deployment. This time to Riyadh and/or Dubai. The extraction of U.S. citizens from the Arabian Peninsula and the Gulf States if things begin to collapse.
@michaelkramer1749The ships that the U.S. sank were apparently inactive
@pamelaconstantinou459The 5000 Marines ARE the False Flag.
@springinfialta106Brian, how can you make this Iran and Ukraine comparison? Russia is fighting the whole of NATO. And the U.S. and Russia is not there to destroy Ukraine's country you know as well as I know. They're there to demilitarise zelensky's regime. Also, Russia has far more powerful weapons than the U.S. that they haven't used yet. And Russia is still there.
@pamelaconstantinou459Scot Ritter being a former Marine corps intelligence officer, He has a different take on sending the marines to Kharg island refuelling mid air Brian says🤔
@pamelaconstantinou459Good afternoon. The US has access to enough fuel to sustain us for a while, but what about urea, fertilizers during peak planting season, and medicines, most of which are petroleum-based? Do they have reserves of those supplies as well, or do they get the vast majority of them from that region(India,..)? Regards.
@aritzaramburu18Delusional thinking. 1. Trump said he did not think Iran would close the strait. 2. Prices sky rocketing at the USA petrol pumps show that the US is not energy independent. Of course, it was mainly Trump and his cabinet that were too dumb/delusional to listen to and understand what experts have been saying for years about this very situation.
@PoliticsResearchThe marines are a feint. The attack on kharg will come from troops hidden in tankers coming to be filled with oil. Trojan horse.
@JayLeak9Brian is usually spot on, but I always get the impression that he overestimates U.S. capabilities
@pamelaconstantinou459It's a well-made point, and maybe the case (about China and interdicting its suppliers with the MEU). I'm just lacking the bigger picture when it comes to China. They seem to have chosen Russia as their primary target for the foreseeable future. No doubt they don't like China's growth, but what would be their overall plan? This 5-year window might be true, maybe sources for that? It just seems to me that China isn't something they can alienate. Surely they can't invade it, so they'll want to install a pro-US regime instead. Let it grow more aligned to US policy over many years, and eventually try to engineer a civil war or the splitting of China into multiple smaller countries. All this over many decades. And after all the other obstacles, Russia mainly, are dealt with first.
A shorter-term attempt to weaken such an impenetrable country seems to me a bit futile.
The momentum too is against Russia. Which is one hell of an enemy on its own. But it's one that has been their enemy for much longer, and surely they're more concerned about its Geostrategic influence than about China's.
perfekt! i love how Brain always points back to "let it to BiBi" or "overstreching russia" usw. but im not sure if this is the highest level of longterm planing of the absurd rich class in the west.
how about "population bomb" and kissingers https://www.nssm200.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/NSSM-200.pdf?
couldent it be, that "fullspectrum arrogance" is a mean to hunger and other probelms that lead to depopulation as goal?
From your analysis one would have to conclude that China is either too dumb to understand what the grand US strategy is, or China knows what the US strategy is, but believes it is now powerful enough to defeat the US economically and/or militarily and doesn’t really care what happens to Iran or BRICS.
