Does the new Range Rover live up to the badge?

Video Overview & Insights

The L460 is the latest offering from Range Rover and it promises to be the very best car that JLR have ever produced.

Another great video ❤
Watched your 2 Range Rover Vids back to back ❤

— @richardburke952

As a man that owns a now dated 2012 L322 Westminster I thought it would only be right and proper to see if the new one lives up to its predecessors.

Truth be told, the L460 is quite possibly the best car I have ever driven! It’s comfortable, smooth, quiet and unbelievably luxurious. It boasts incredible off-road credentials, it’s covered in technology and looks sensational.

I just bought one. It’s excellent. Don’t listen to this guy.

— @TrevorRuby

But if I were wealthy enough would I swap my old Range Rover for the new one? Time to find out?

Please like, share and subscribe to the channel!

Honestly, I can't get my simple brain around why you don't have a TV deal or a million subscribers.
I'm looking at getting a 405 and thankfully had your channel recommended, now working through your videos and love em all. You have a great onscreen presence and persona as well as brilliant knowledge.
Thank you sir!

So much work has gone into making this, my first YouTube video I cannot quite express how overjoyed i am that it’s finally done!

He did not mention the L405 at all. Why?

The review, the cinematography, the music OMG 😱!! 13:34 to 13:43 im of the same opinion but for me I’d say cars made between 2005 to 2017 will be the ones singing when the music stops

Just finished watch your review of the newest RR and I was so relaxed just listening to your review, the music and scenery while incorporating a fine review of the newest of RR. The characters of the individual cars has almost disappeared. I drove Lincoln Town Cards for years and put on many miles while riding in such comfort and reliability. It was when Lincoln stop producing the Town Car in 2012 that industry started to make major course changes to the vehicles. I do not know if we will ever see the vehicles where they is a difference that evolves human stirrings. Thank you for a marvelous review. JD Sheuring

If u tuned down the music just a little bit so your voice is a little over it, would have been great 👍🏻

Absolutely nails it at 12:30

I was following one last week and I was struck by the fact that, were I not a car nerd, I’d have absolutely no idea what it was. The distinctive Range Rover shape, immediately noticeable from any angle, is gone, it could have been any generic large SUV

More importantly does it live up to price

You nailed it yet again, my friend! I'm a big fan of anything " Range Rover" and will stick to the L405 which is the car I'm eyeing for a while and intend to buy in the next few days. Your reviews keep me glued to the the screen, your storytelling is captivating and gripping ! Well done!

I have been present on Youtube and the motoring landscape for a long time, never have I commented on a video until now.

The execution and cinematography, and inevitably here I must compare with Top Gear, are the best I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing, bar with the mentioned.

There is, however, an entire component that is entirely you. Presence, eloquence and delivery of this calibre are extremely rare. Furthermore, the inherent passion behind your voice and your writing comes from a place known to all of us: That cars are living entities, capable of emotional bonds, capable of making us feel sentiments that in occasion not even real people can.

Last I remember only one other person had it. And he is from the very same great island as you.

Please keep going, keep pushing, keep making us feel this.

If I was wealthy enough to own a 460 I’d probably treat my 322 to a valet and a respray and carry on with it, can’t beat it and I fear the electronics-heavy 460 will age like milk (It’s frustrating enough with the electronics on a 322, yes I’m looking at you ABS sensors, and that’s like a Commodore 64 compared to the 460). Top video though.

Thank you for the great review.
Exactly that HIDEOUS INTERIOR of new RRs, consisting of "tablet, gear lever & no buttons", made a-no-brainer-replacement of my 2018 RRS for new RRS model, into REAL CONSIDERATION.

Range Rover, once leader in elegant & functional interiors, gets surpassed even by Porsche Cayenne, which is now on the shortlist for my next car.
And even when I am aware of the blasphemy committed...

Well…….your wrong…..having had 2 RR classics, my new 2025 is as you say, it’s not a farm tractor……but it WILL handle ANY WEATHER and driving condition thrown at it with luxury and style beyond anything out there.

Range Rover is the best all round Suv that money can buy but it has one issue its not reliable. If you want the best all rounder Suv that is also reliable you get a Lexus LX.

I have an L405 diesel 4.4 Litre from 2018 and have done 140,000 miles in the last seven years. For me it is the best car in the World but, importantly, it is just at the limit of successful technological development, with enough minor niggles that even the authorised dealer finds frustrating. Hence, I would never buy the next era, the 460, as the level of technology is incredibly high but simply a minefield waitig to happen. Am now looking for a very low mileage L405 diesel 4.4 .

Probably one of the best car reviews I have ever watched - I've watched so many of them.. Just like you said it in the video - "Your review has character". keep up the good work mate. Looking forward to more car reviews from you.
