#podcast english learning,

"This podcast episode is absolutely fantastic! Although the swimming theme with the shark story was a bit unexpected, the way you guys integrate and explain the vocabulary is incredibly clear. I especially love the part that analyzes the different swimming strokes (doggy paddling, breast stroke, backstroke) and the 'Fluency Builder' section with natural phrases like 'take a dip'. The content is both engaging and beneficial—it's perfect for expanding vocabulary and improving listening/speaking skills! Thank you, Marco and Erica."

I have a crazy story about swimming:

I used to go to the gym almost everyday. That day I finished playing legs right after work which made me very very tired. And when I feet tired like this, the best thing I do is have a nap.
But i decided to go swimming for a little while. I enjoyed swimming after that hot working day and after the gym exhausting training. I tried to dive into the water and keep under water as most as i possibly could. It took me more than one and a half minutes in the first time holding my breath until i feel no way to continue then I get up to retake my breath again. One more time and the third. In the fourth one, i kept myself underwater for longer time, thinking about my day at work, dreaming for better opportunities, dealing with customers in more professional way and many many stuff like that. And i fell asleep, the daydreams were transfer smoothly into real dreams, step by step i felt like I’m in an ocean diving and playing with fish and beautiful dolphins. And suddenly, i remembered that it was not the suitable time or even the best place to sleep because I discovered that my lungs need some air.

Here is the vocabulary list I have taken notes:
1. sailing (n): a kind of sport that you don't use any support from engines; instead, you depend on the power of wind to push you up.
2. anchor (n): "mỏ neo" in Vietnamese meaning. Sth that boat users utilize when they want to keep their boats in the same place on the water.
(v): to do that
eg. We should anchor our boat before leaving.
3. doggy paddling (n): a swimming style, not swimming, you just try to float on the water.
(note: paddle (n): sth / a tool that sailor uses by hands to make a boat move forward.
4. breaststroke (n): a swimming style like a frog 🐸 🐸
(note: "breast" (n): a small part of body of a woman, especially it will be larger when the woman is pregnant, which produces mild for babies.
(n) - the front part of a body of animals, especially birds.
"stroke" - in " have a stroke" - a kind of dangerous disease that makes a person out of movements -> adhere to wheelchaires possibly".
5. backstroke (n): a swimming style that my back lies on the water
6. take a dip: have a quick swim
7. for a little while: for a short time
eg. I'm going to sleep for a little while.
8. straight towards: moving in a line ( lao thẳng về phía j)
eg. the car is coming straight towards you
9. towel (n): cloth that u use after taking a bath (swimming costume - in UK)
10. TAN (V): to lie under the sky and make your skin turn brown
